Stanton Healthcare Announces Dedication Service for Two State of the Art Ultrasound Machines

BOISE, Idaho, Aug. 24 /Christian Newswire/ -- These ultrasound machines are a powerful tool in building a culture of life and allowing pregnant women to see the development and humanity of their preborn children.

The dedication service will be held on Tuesday, August 24 at 6:00 P.M.

The location is Stanton Healthcare at the Barnabas Center Building:
4859 Field Street, Boise, ID
(Behind the Vineyard Church 4950 Bradley Street, Boise, ID)

Stanton Healthcare is a cutting edge life affirming women's clinic dedicated to helping women who find themselves in unexpected crisis pregnancies by providing them emotional, spiritual and practical assistance.

Stanton Healthcare is delighted to have partnered with the Knights of Columbus in their national program which helps local pregnancy centers across the nation purchase ultrasound machines.

This is the first such partnership in the State of Idaho.

Knights of Columbus, Idaho State Deputy Brian Simer, states:

"Every day, thousands of women are making individual decisions to have an abortion under great pressure, and often with little knowledge about the precious new human life within them. Modern ultrasound technology now provides clear, well-defined full color images of the child in the womb. The opportunity to see such images, and to understand in detail the development of a child even in the early weeks of pregnancy often has a dramatic effect on a woman's decision regarding her pregnancy.

"Through our ultrasound program, the Supreme Council provides a matching grant for every state or local council that raises half the cost of a new machine. Since the program began in Iowa, Georgia and Florida 19 months ago, Knights in 25 states have enabled the purchase of 53 ultrasound machines. Together, we have so far donated $1,627,855 to buy these machines, and it is the single largest and most important project being funded by our Culture of Life Fund."
Brandi Swindell, Founder and Director of Stanton Healthcare, states,
"We are thrilled to announce the dedication of these two state of the art ultrasound machines. We are also deeply gratified to have partnered with the Knights of Columbus whose deep generosity made this project possible.

"It is especially exciting that the Knights have chosen Stanton Healthcare to be the first clinic from the State of Idaho to be a part of the their national program.

"These two ultrasound machines are a powerful tool in helping build a culture of life as it gives women an extraordinary opportunity to see first hand the development of their preborn child. It is truly 'a window into the womb.'

"One of the new machines is also a mobile unit which will give Stanton the unique opportunity to open 'satellite' offices in the more rural areas of Idaho. In this way, we will be able to reach women throughout the entire state."
