"Little did I expect that a simple decision to attend the Students for Life of America National Conference in January 2009 would change my life forever."

"SFLA's National Conference is the equivalent of one-stop shopping for all things pro-life."

- Laura Peters, Founder of Alabama Students for Life and Outreach Director at Priests for Life

The quotes above from Laura Peters aren't isolated ones. In fact, those are common remarks we hear every year after the Students for Life of America National Conference.

As you may have heard by now, the Students for Life National Conference is only a few months away, and, today, I would like to take a few moments to invite you to this life-changing event.

Every January, Students for Life hosts a National Conference the same weekend as the March for Life in Washington, D.C. Our National Conference is 1 full day of inspiring pro-life speakers and training for both pro-life students and adults.

Our goal is that when you leave the conference, you return to your campus and community equipped and empowered to continue the fight for the preborn. Simply put, SFLA wants you to leave our conference knowing how you can save lives everyday.

And we are succeeding. Last year, we had over 1,150 attendees from over 150 universities come to our conference, making the SFLA National Conference the largest pro-life youth conference in the world! (Click here to read what some attendees said about last year's event.)

And this year, on Sunday, January 23, 2011, we are set to make history again.

Because our conference has sold out for the past 2 years, this year, with the help of our co-sponsors the Alliance Defense Fund, the SFLA National Conference has moved to a new, larger location! The 2011 SFLA National Conference will feature pro-life heavy weights such as Scott Klusendorf, Alveda King, David Bereit from 40 Days for Life, Peggy Hartshorn from Heartbeat International, Georgette Forney from Silent No More, Jason Jones from Iamwholelife.com, Bryan Kemper from Stand True, and many more! View the entire schedule here!

Make Sure to Register Now for SFLA National Conference Before It Sells Out!

The 2011 Students for Life National Conference will be held January 23, 2011 at the Marriott Hotel in Bethesda, Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C. The event is located next to a D.C. Metro Station and parking is free, even for buses!

For a limited time, the student registration fee has been reduced from $50 to $40 per person! This fee includes lunch and dinner! Before we sell out, make sure to register now to reserve your spot at the 2011 SFLA National Conference! This year, there will be special workshop sessions just for teen, law, and med students!

And don't let logistics stop you from coming to this life-changing event! SFLA can help you find free or reduced cost housing or find a ride with other pro-lifers. If you are planning on attending but need some assistance, e-mail or call us (703-351-6280) today!

Thank you for all you do for Life, and I look forward to seeing you at the 2011 Students for Life National Conference!
