A federal judge recently declared that the President's new healthcare law gives the federal government the right to
regulate your thoughts.
Federal Judge Gladys Kessler stated that if you decide
not to purchase healthcare insurance, your decision qualifies as “mental activity” – which the government can regulate under the Commerce Clause of our Constitution.
Can you imagine the threats to our religious liberty if we don’t stop this horrendous legal reasoning?
The
CatholicVote.org Legal Fund has no choice but to get involved. We will be working through the weekend to file a critical brief with the D.C. Court of Appeals on Monday.

The Courts have used the Commerce Clause to justify government control over much of our lives. But we may have reached the tipping point.
