Catholics and the Heretical Agenda
By Judie Brown
Tomorrow American Life League is hosting its annual Pill Kills symposium in Washington, D.C. All are encouraged to attend to learn more about, not only the detrimental effects of the pill, but also about why the Church does not condone its use. Today's commentary addresses this and encourages clergy within the Church to be stronger leaders when it comes to teaching about the pill.

California women would no longer have to make an appointment with a doctor to get birth control pills under a bill approved by the state Assembly. Lawmakers on Thursday approved AB-2348, which would allow registered nurses, nurse practitioners and nurse-midwives to give out and administer hormonal contraceptives at primary care clinics. Culver City Assemblywoman Holly Mitchell said she wrote the bill to give women better access to birth control. AB-2348 is co-sponsored by Planned Parenthood of California and the California Family Health Council, and it has broad support from a variety of advocates for reproductive justice, according to a statement released by Mitchell. The bill passed 41-26 on a party line vote and now moves to the Senate.

Law firm files Yaz/Yasmin/Ocella lawsuits
Broadcast Newsroom
Parker Waichman LLP, a national law firm dedicated to protecting the rights of victims injured by defective drugs, has filed lawsuits on behalf of a Texas woman (Case No. 3:12-cv-10934-DRH-PMF) and a Massachusetts woman (Case No. 3:12-cv-10935-DRH-PMF) who allegedly developed deep vein thrombosis and other injuries as a result of taking Yaz, its predecessor Yasmin or the generic Ocella. Both cases were filed in the multidistrict litigation on May 29th in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois before Judge David R. Herndon (MDL. No 2100). According to the complaints, both women developed deep vein thrombosis after taking Yaz, Yasmin or Ocella. The suits allege severe and permanent personal injuries, pain, suffering and emotional distress. The complaints further allege that the Plaintiffs would not have suffered these effects if Bayer had properly warned about the risks.

Planned Parenthood and gender bias
Live Action News
The people at Planned Parenthood are convinced that they are somehow the ultimate champions of women, women's rights, and women's health, and these new [Live Action] videos seriously undermine that. Is abortion on demand, for whatever reason, really ok? No matter how many children you kill off in the process? No matter what Planned Parenthood says in response, these videos are making a lot of people very uneasy. The reality is: Planned Parenthood exists out of the conviction that all people are not equal. Be it because of race, gender, class or creed . . . Planned Parenthood continues to operate under the eugenicist legacy of its founder, of eliminating "undesirables" from society. This is population control.
