The Unwelcome Ex-"Gay" Phenomenon
 

For years Fr. Harvey doubted reparative therapy for homosexuals, but by the 1970s he changed his mind because he saw too many examples of it working.

Few homosexuals seem to be gay in the standard sense of that word — that is, happy and carefree. The miseries — physical, mental, moral, and spiritual — that are associated with that “lifestyle” are too well known to require repetition. All that is required is the ability to see with the eyes, listen with the ears, and think with the brain.
