New Obama TV Ad Attacks Romney, Ryan s Pro-Life Views
Less than a week after Mitt Romney selected pro-life Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate, the Obama campaign is on the attack with a new ad going after the pair for their pro-life views opposing abortion. The attack comes in a new television ad released today.
During the 30 second commercial, which will run in Colorado, Nevada, Virginia, Ohio, Florida, and Iowa, the Obama campaign blasts them both for opposing taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood, the nation s biggest abortion business which does abortions on 91% of the pregnant women that comprise its customer base. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/08/17/new-obama-tv-ad-attacks-romney-ryans-pro-life-views/
Catholic Pro-Life Group Endorses Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan
This week, one of the leading pro-life groups for Catholics made the decision to put its imprimatur on the presidential ticket of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, saying it is the right vote for pro-lifers.
On the heels of Romney s picking a pro-life running mate in Rep. Paul Ryan, Brian Burch of Catholic Vote told his supporters, Mitt Romney made his choice. Today we are making ours.
CatholicVote.org is proud to announce that we are enthusiastically endorsing Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan in the 2012 presidential race, Burch said. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/08/17/catholic-pro-life-group-endorses-mitt-romney-paul-ryan/
Planned Parenthood Protestor Spits on Romney Supporter
A Planned Parenthood protestor who purposefully mingled in with supporters of Mitt Romney at a Wisconsin event to chastise the candidate for wanting to stop taxpayer funding of the abortion business.
After she asks a question about Planned Parenthood and begins filibustering at the event, Romney supporters confront her and she spits in the face of one pro-Romney woman. A local newspaper in Appleton identifies the woman as 83-year-old Mary Hoglund. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/08/17/planned-parenthood-protestor-spits-on-romney-supporter/
Obama Quickly Condemned, Probed Tiller Killing; Unlike FRC Shooting
In 2009, President Barack Obama was quick to condemn the shooting of late-term abortion practitioner George Tiller just an hour or two after the incident took place. But the president was slow to respond to the FRC shooting and merely released a comment through his press office about the shooting of a security guard at a pro-life group s office.
The White House released a comment and the White House press secretary Jay Carney has spoken about the shooting during an official press conference, but Obama has not made any comments of his own directly to the press on the shooting.
The White House took more than five hours to respond. Not until after 6:30 p.m. ET did the White House respond. Obama finally commented, saying this type of violence has no place in our society. But a CNN tweet indicated, WH says Pres. Obama was notified at 1:18pm of the Family Research Council shooting by national sec. adviser John Brennan. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/08/17/obama-quickly-condemned-probed-tiller-killing-unlike-frc-shooting/
All Planned Parenthood Charges Dropped After Sebelius Document Shredding
All of the charges against a Planned Parenthood abortion business have been dropped after one of the most politically biased cases pro-life groups say they can remember. The case was embroiled in controversy after it was found documents critical to it were destroyed during the administration of former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.
Earlier this month, a Kansas judge dismissed dozens of misdemeanor charges alleging that the abortion business failed to test whether an unborn child was viable (as required by state law) before doing a late-term abortion, and that it manipulated records it submitted to the state to cover up those crimes. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/08/17/all-planned-parenthood-charges-dropped-after-sebelius-document-shredding/
FRC Shooting Victim Recovering, Will Be Back Soon
Family Research Council (FRC) President Tony Perkins today talked about the recovery progress of long-time FRC staff member Leo Johnson, who was shot on Wednesday inside the lobby of FRC s headquarters.
We are grateful for the outpouring of prayers and well-wishes for Leo as well as the entire FRC team who have been affected by this attack. It will take time, but he will be back with us soon, for which we are all grateful, Perkins said. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/08/17/frc-shooting-victim-recovering-will-be-back-soon/

White House Won t Say if FRC Shooting Was a Hate Crime
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney dodged when asked a question about the shooting of a security guard at the offices of the pro-life group Family Research Council earlier this week.
He wouldn t say whether the White House believes the shooting was a hate crime.
Yesterday, the president was informed about it by his homeland security advisor John Brennan, Carney told reporters, according to a CNS News report. He s very concerned about the victim, the person who was shot and made clear to me and relayed this to the pool that he firmly believes that violence of that kind has no place in our society. This goes to the greater discussion we ve had about violence in America and the need to tackle it. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/08/17/white-house-wont-say-if-frc-shooting-was-a-hate-crime/
Cher: May God Take My Voice if I Stop Promoting Abortion
Cher went on another Twitter rant this week, this time promoting abortion, contraception, and Planned Parenthood in her uniquely histrionic and foul-mouthed way. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/08/17/cher-may-god-take-my-voice-if-i-stop-promoting-abortion/
Abortion the Center of Planned Parenthood s Business Model
It is impossible to ensure that taxpayer dollars directed to Planned Parenthood for so-called family-planning services don t also pay for abortions, and it is for that reason alone that it was appropriate for the New Hampshire Executive Council to reject the abortion business s state contract for family-planning services last year. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/08/17/abortion-the-center-of-planned-parenthoods-business-model/
Best and Worst Biblical Arguments for the Pro-Life View

Liberals: Congress Needs More Women, Only If They re Pro-Abortion
Once upon a time, the phrase gender equality meant exactly what it sounds like securing the equal rights of women to do whatever men could, from the workplace to the ballot box. It was fundamentally about making sex less relevant in judging people s worth and qualifications, about viewing them as individuals first and members of a group second. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/08/17/liberals-congress-needs-more-women-only-if-theyre-pro-abortion/
UK Court Got it Right Rejecting Nicklinson Euthanasia Case
