Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day was an awesome success today. LSN staff who went to a few locations could not believe the large crowds they saw very patiently lining up to buy chicken to support the company president’s pro-marriage views. It appears the same thing occurred all over the United States. And then there is the doubling of sales being experienced by baker Jack Phillips, the owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, after some angry gay activists organized a boycott campaign against his business because he would not make them a homosexual wedding cake.

Something good is happening. The silent for too many years silent majority seems to be rousing out of its decades long slumber and taking action. Crucial freedoms and the necessary bedrock social foundations of the nation are in danger and it is long past time to start acting. Let’s hope this trend of taking action continues.
