National Prayer Service, Washington DC, January 25, 2013

On Friday, January 25, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., the National Prayer Service will be held in Washington DC on the day of the March for Life. The Service, which will be the premier prayer event marking the 40th year since Roe v. Wade, will take place on at DAR Constitution Hall, located at 1776 D St., NW (18th and D St).

This will be an interdenominational service, with dignitaries from many different denominations participating, a combined choir to lead the singing, and a sermon delivered by Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life.

The leaders present will call the participants to bold new actions to end abortion and also to restore protection to all those who are vulnerable due to disability and illness.

Don’t miss out on this experience of prayer, praise, unity and commitment. The service will also remember in a special way Miss Nellie Gray, who led the March for Life for 40 years and died this past summer.

The service is open to all without any cost or tickets necessary. Large groups are welcome. For those who want to attend Catholic Mass, there are Churches close to Constitution Hall that will have mass before the service.

More details on this and other aspects of the service are at NationalPrayerService.com
