Contributing
to the discussion of “marriage” between persons of the same sex is as
challenging as the subject is complicated. The first word right now
should be one of gratitude to the many citizens of Illinois who have
said to our legislators what we know to be true from nature itself: two
persons of the same sex cannot be physically joined in a marital union.

1797) will be considered on the House floor as early as June 18. Please
urge your Representative to oppose all weakening amendments and to
support the bill.

French
opposition to child adoption by same-sex couples is growing. This is
according to a survey published by Catholic daily newspaper La Croix.
56% of French say they are against it. In 2012, 48% of those interviewed
were against same-sex adoption.

one form. These hormones play a vital reproductive role in the human
life. An imbalance in one of the hormones might lead to serious bodily

Merck’s
Gardasil and GlaxoSmithKline’s Cervarix took a hit as Japan’s Ministry
of Health, Labor and Welfare told local governments to suspend their
previous recommendation for HPV vaccine administration to the country’s
12 to 16 year old girls.
