Mankato, Minnesota
Before
applying to lead this 40 Days for Life campaign at Mankato's Planned
Parenthood referral center, Mary called Steve to share some concerns.
Members of her leadership team were not available to help her this time around, and she was nervous.
"There's no pressure from us. You need to pray about whether you're able to move forward," Steve told her. "But sometimes, those moments when we're tempted to throw in the towel come right before our greatest victories."
Mary
stepped forward in faith to lead once again. That decision paid off
when a grandfather brought his pregnant granddaughter to Planned
Parenthood, worried about what she'd decide.
After vigil participants prayed with the man, his granddaughter chose life!
She
said, "It's too much of a miracle that we're even pregnant." The
boyfriend wasn't expected to be able to have children, so they concluded
the pregnancy is a gift from God and decided not to abort.
