Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

From 40 Days For Life: DAY 9: Billboards and national media coverage
With more campaigns than ever in 415 cities...
...we are seeing more media coverage than ever! (And our billboard campaign is causing a stir. More on that in a moment.)
Now, let's get to the billboards that are turning heads.
Wisconsin
Wisconsin is hosting eight 40 Days for Life campaigns this fall. Two of them, Madison and Green Bay, conduct around-the-clock 24/7 vigils that never miss an hour of coverage.
Those
cities also happen to be home to college and professional football
teams that draw tens of thousands of visitors to town each game-day
weekend throughout the fall. These factors made Wisconsin the perfect place to test a pilot billboard program promoting local 40 Days for Life campaigns.
These billboards have been posted on major highways--as well as right over Green Bay's Planned Parenthood center--and will be seen millions of times this fall.
Boston, Massachusetts
The
40 Days for Life leadership team in Boston wanted to post a billboard
informing post-abortive mothers of resources for healing.
A
major national media conglomerate censored the message, refusing to
display the words "Hurting from your abortion? Find hope and healing."
After
some heated negotiations with a second billboard company, the message
was posted--just in time for the start of the campaign.
And
the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Father, I thank you for your love and saving grace in Christ Jesus.
