From 40 Days For Life: DAY 35: Huckabee to feature 40 Days for Life

This campaign has seen more persecution—but also more positive media coverage than ever before!
A few weeks before the campaign started, I released my new book, The Beginning of the End of Abortion. The media coverage has not slowed down, and your reviews on Amazon have helped the book become a bestseller!

On Saturday, I will be on Huckabee hosted by Gov. Mike Huckabee at 8:00 pm Eastern/7:00 pm Central on TBN. Tune in! I will also be on the Eric Metaxas Show and will send out the air time shortly. Both of these gentlemen endorsed the book and see the impact prayer and sacrifice are making in our politically correct culture.
This beautiful book shows that we can offer hope to women considering abortion, compassion to women who have an abortion, and love to those who work in the abortion industry. Read this, be inspired, and be part of the beginning of the end of abortion.–Gov. Mike Huckabee, Fox News contributor and New York Times best-selling author

These stories share the very best of America, and of how we can use our freedoms to offer genuine hope to those in need. The true stories in this book are living proof that the tide has turned on the abortion crisis.–Eric Metaxas, New York Times bestselling author of Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy

As we enter the home stretch of the largest 40 Days for Life campaign ever, here are two more stories of how your prayers are making an impact:

Boulder, Colorado

"Do you want women to go back to using coat hangers to have abortions as they did in the past?" a woman angrily asked volunteers praying in front of the infamous third-trimester abortion center in Boulder.
A larger-than-usual group had assembled to pray with Denver Archbishop Samuel Aquila, and some of the prayer warriors stepped aside to dialogue with the woman.
"Over the next 30 minutes, participants were able to share what happens behind the clinic door--just 10 feet away," Susan said. "She accepted our concerns about a culture that allows the taking the life up to the time of birth, and we gave her a copy of Peter Kreeft's book, Three Approaches to Abortion."
But that's not the end of the story. The woman returned later that day.
"With tears in her eyes, she told us she changed her mind and was grateful for our time," Susan said. "She gave the group a gift: confirmation that our quiet, peaceful prayers do result in changed minds."

Portland, Oregon

Protesters were on hand for a candlelight vigil and a visit from 40 Days for Life board member, Alfonso Chicharro. Their signs revealed the abortion industry's true colors. Messages included "Honk if you love abortion" and "Lesbians can't make babies, but I still want rights to abortion! --xoxo satan."
But the peaceful prayer warriors were neither discouraged nor deterred.
"Do not be afraid," Alfonso reminded them. "We are winning!"
A pastor led the group in prayer, and the entire pro-life crowd sang hymns of Christian unity.
"Today has been one of the most powerful days I have lived in the U.S.," said Alfonso, who hails from Spain. "Portland is pro-life; I saw it with my eyes. I cannot thank God more for having permitted me to be part of this blessed day."

Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sin is covered. Blessed is the one to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.
— Romans 4:7-8
Our Most Gracious Heavenly Father, thank you for your amazing grace that saved a wretch like me. I come against the enemy of my soul who would have me feel cast down and dejected. Lord, keep your children from falling prey to the accusations of the father of lies. Turn our mourning into dancing and may we bring praise to you as we give testimony of Your healing and restoration in our lives.
