Abortion is Crippling Honesty
By Judie Brown
If we lie to ourselves long enough, we will begin to believe those lies. And after 40 years, enough people believe the lies of abortion that they are hardly concerned about the loss of a baby. When babies die, these people chalk it up to choice. No one wants to hear the realities of abortion----that the result is a dead child, and sometimes a dead mother as well. Today's commentary shows just how callous our society has become.

Sandra Fluke joins Planned Parenthood to push Obamacare birth control
Washington Examiner
Sandra Fluke, President Obama's Democratic National Convention spokeswoman for Obamacare-supplied birth control, has joined with Planned Parenthood to urge Americans to speak out in support of no co-pay birth control. In an email to supporters, Fluke, who in February 2012 was blocked from testifying before Congress and later hit by Rush Limbaugh on his radio show, wrote: "I'm proud to stand with Planned Parenthood and President Obama as we work to expand access to affordable birth control. And I'm proud to stand with millions of women and men----including you----who are fighting for women's health every single day."

Wayne State University researchers map fetal brain signal
Detroit News
For the first time anywhere, Wayne State University researchers have shown brain connectivity in fetuses, a discovery that could lead to new ways to prevent and treat brain disorders such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and dyslexia. Moriah Thomason, a developmental neuroscientist, collaborated with other WSU researchers and used magnetic resonance imaging to capture real-time images that showed communication signals between more than 40 regions of the brain of fetuses in utero. The study was published Wednesday in Science Translational Medicine, a journal of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Protesters call for one-child policy and population control during demonstration on National Mall
HLI World Watch
During a Sierra Club sponsored protest against the Keystone XL pipeline on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., last Sunday, several of the protesters expressed support for population control measures including the implementation of a global one-child policy similar to China's brutal and draconian policy. China's one-child policy was introduced in 1979 as a population control measure. The Chinese government utilizes coercive measures including forced abortions and forced sterilizations to enforce the policy. The one-child policy is the impetus behind numerous human rights violations and violent attacks by government officials on their own people each year.
