How can I celebrate Black History Month?
By Pastor Stephen Broden

We are now well into the month that is celebrated as "Black History Month." Black communities across this nation will celebrate this month and, with deep appreciation, laud the first black president as the most significant event in our history. Schools, churches, and other institutions in our community will speak of Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and many others who made extraordinary contributions to our nation's history.

However, there is a dark cloud that hangs over our community a specter of self-destruction through the murder of our babies by the evil practice of abortion. It taints our community pride and casts disparagement on those who preceded us and also on their accomplishments. The irony of our celebration this year is evident in recently published abortion statistics that indicate that upwards of 1,500 black babies a day are murdered in their mother's wombs. While we as a community celebrate our history in America, it is increasingly clear that our future is being systematically destroyed by a eugenic-based philosophy targeted specifically toward black babies and black women.

Planned Parenthood to close Chippewa Falls [WI] center
Chippewa Herald
Planned Parenthood is announcing today the closing of four of its family planning health centers, including one in Chippewa Falls. The others are in Beaver Dam, Johnson Creek and Shawano, and all four will be closing between April and July. According to a statement from Planned Parenthood, the closings are a direct result of the state legislature's elimination of funding for the organization in the state's last budget cycle. Patients of the Chippewa Falls center were notified last week, and the center is expected to close in mid-May. Patients will be referred to Planned Parenthood of Eau Claire for treatment.

Conan O'Brien has a laugh at Planned Parenthood's expense
LifeSiteNews
Network television broadcasts pro-life jokes as often as Billy Graham quotes Lisa Lampanelli. But the unthinkable happened last week on Conan O'Brien's late night television program. The late-night comedian had a laugh at Planned Parenthood's expense on Conan, which airs on TBS. In a two-part skit, Conan aired a segment purporting to show an unborn "fetus" running away after learning its parents were reality TV star Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West. The baby runs frantically until it arrives outside a Planned Parenthood abortion facility, when the child freezes and slowly backs away.

Father of baby crushed under wheels of Chinese family planning officials' van speaks out
LifeSiteNews
The father of a 13-month-old child who was killed when he was crushed under the wheels of a van driven by Chinese family planning officials has spoken out for the first time. In an interview with the local Xian Dai Jin Bao News Agency, the father described his altercation with the officials, who were collecting a fine after the couple gave birth illegally to a third child, and the circumstances that led to the----apparently accidental----death of the child.
