The Confraternity of Catholic Clergy is an association of 600 priests and deacons across the USA and Canada who are committed to fostering ongoing spiritual, theological and pastoral formation of the clergy in a fraternal context. Founded in 1975, the organization seeks to promote fraternal support among the ordained ministry to better preach the Gospel and and to teach the doctrines of the Catholic Christian religion to the faithful. Last year's meeting was in St. Louis with Archbishop Raymond Burke as keynote speaker.
Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.
