MEDIA ADVISORY, Sept. 11 /Christian Newswire/ -- All over the nation people are standing up and speaking out for what they believe. On Saturday, October 24, 2009 people will have the opportunity to stand up and speak out for the preborn. Walk for Life Central Coast will be hosting a Pro Life Rally at 11:00 am at the Mission College Prep Gym (corner of Palm & Broad) in San Luis Obispo. Nationally known keynote speakers include Gianna Jessen, an abortion survivor, Reverend Dr. Clenard Childress Jr., founder of Life Education and Resource Network, Maria Estrada, Executive Director of Life Line. This is the first time that the Central Coast has come together in one unified effort to Walk for Life for preborn American Citizens.
This Pro-life event begins at 11 am with music and prayer, followed by the keynote speakers and a peaceful walk through the city to show support for the preborn. Gianna Jessen was the survivor of a saline abortion, who has overcome physical handicaps to travel the nation speaking out for the rights of unborn children. Reverend Childress founded his organization to speak out against the disproportionate number of African American children who are aborted in America today. Reverend Childress states on his website, blackgenocide.com that "The most dangerous place for an African American to be is in the womb of their African American mother." The goal of the Walk for Life is to demonstrate commitment to the sanctity of human life by demonstrating support for preborn American Citizens in a peaceful, respectful manner.
Walk for Life Central Coast was founded this year in an effort to combine various prolife efforts on the Central Coast and allow those who support preborn children to let their voices be heard. Event information and registration can be found on the website at www.walkforlifecc.com.
