March 6, 11:35 p.m.
Please pray for 16-year old "C." She came to Fr Jerry Bevilacqua's First Friday Mass and Healing Service last night and said that she thought she was pregnant, and that she wanted to keep the baby. Her mother had already made the appointment with PP for an abortion this morning, Saturday 6 March.
At the healing service, present with the girl were her grandmother and uncle, who agreed they were willing to be supportive about "C's" decision to carry the baby and keep it. Leslie and I prayed with them, suggested they purchase and take a home-pregnancy test Friday night to confirm whether she was indeed pregnant. We also gave them cards for COLFS, with the encouragement to call Friday night to get additional pointers and to make an appointment there. All seemed to be in place for a good outcome. The biggest concern was for the girl's mom on Saturday morning. Seemed to be a lot of fear that she would insist on going to PP.
We learned this morning that the home test indicated that "C" was not pregnant. However, we also learned today that the mom did take "C" to PP this morning for birth control. We prayed that they did nothing else to the girl. Please pray for her protection, for her to amend her ways and to grow more in her Faith. Pray for courage for the girl's grandmother and uncle who truly seemed to care for the girl. Pray for healing and conversion for the girl's mom.

From the Riverside 40 Days for Life Team,
A young woman is scheduled for a 2-day abortion procedure starting next Tuesday in San Diego County. We are still trying to obtain details of the exact location. It may be near the San Marcos 40 Days for Life campaign and I've already contacted them to see if they can help in any way. She is 14 weeks pregnant, is married, has a 4 year old and 8 month old. She does know it's wrong evidenced by a statement made by her indicating she doesn't know if God will forgive her for this. I have been given her contact information and will be calling her tomorrow (Sunday) to share how abortion has caused so much pain and hurt in my life. I ask for God's intervention, a conversion of her heart, the courage and strength to do the right thing, to be selfless…not selfish, and also that God speak through me what this young women needs to hear. We are going to see if we can convince her to go to Alternatives in Escondido to get a free ultrasound on Monday so she can see her baby. I will call her "B".

A woman and her boyfriend were intercepted at FPA on Miramar Road this morning by Anne. After going up the stairs, they paused, came back down, and left. Please pray that they visit COLFS on Monday morning, and continue to choose life for their unborn baby. More info on Saturday morning later.
March 4, 5:14 p.m.
On a recent (March 2) prayer vigil at a local abortion office in San Marcos, , little did the 100 high schoolers from Vista Calvary Christian School anticipate that God would respond so quickly to their prayers. Many of these high schoolers came out to pray either reluctantly or timidly having never prayed and fasted in this manner.
As they were getting ready to leave after praying, a college student approached them and she asked, "Why are you protesting the college health clinic in this building?" It was explained that we weren't protesting, but actually praying against abortions. She countered that "abortions weren't being performed in the building" to which we firmly and lovingly explained to her that abortions were being done that day in the building at the largest abortion mill in the area. She gasped and said, "that's terrible. I didn't know that!"
That same morning, a local PRC received a phone call from a man with questions about abortion. He was encouraged to come in immediately for a counseling appointment with his girlfriend… and came in shortly. He shared that he'd been at the same abortion clinic that morning and had seen the people praying. The abortion doctor gave his girlfriend an ultrasound which revealed a 12-week-old baby. The doctor explained the abortion procedure to the couple, but noticed reluctance on their part about the operation and told them, "This is a big decision. You need to be certain that you want to do this." and suggested that they re-consider their actions! This doctor has been doing abortions for more than 25 years and has never been known to make suggestions questioning an abortion.
As the young couple left the office, saw the people praying and returned home, they passed an ad with the telephone number of a local PRC and called and came in for an appointment. After hearing more about how abortion changes you and affects everyone in a family, they chose life for their baby!
