Planned Parenthood pushing its worldwide plan in Helena
Although Planned Parenthood managed to keep its name off the graphic sex education curriculum being proposed for young children in Helena, Montana, Planned Parenthood of Montana is now circulating an e-mail calling those who oppose the curriculum liars. The Planned Parenthood email encourages parents to show up for this week's school board meeting to lobby for approval of the curriculum. "We need you to stand up for sex ed! We cannot let the political extremists or ideologues hijack our public school health curriculum!" the email says. The appeal is typical Planned Parenthood propaganda, saying that without Planned Parenthood style sex education, teens and young people will not have the information they need to make responsible decisions about their health. Those who oppose the curriculum are doing their own organizing to insure a large turnout at the meeting. As we reported earlier, the original draft of the curriculum being pushed by Planned Parenthood in Helena teaches five year olds to name private body parts with words to which they should not even be exposed, expects fifth graders to be competent in understanding methods of sexual intercourse, including penetration of various orifices, and teaches children that it is harmful to embrace traditional male and female roles, referred to as "stereotypes." Some modifications were made after parents strongly objected to the content of the curriculum. "This is a revised draft and not necessarily in its final form," Superintendent Bruce Messinger said in a news report. "We recognize it's an evolving document." "The intent of the Health Education Curriculum has not been altered by the revisions," Messinger says on the school district website. Planned Parenthood and the ACLU praised the revised document. Remember that central to Planned Parenthood's Strategic Plan for 2010-2015 is the IPPF Declaration on Sexual Rights, and among those rights espoused is that children have the right to pleasurable sex without interference from others, according to what PP refers to as children's "evolving capacity." The "evolving document," ostensibly constructed by Planned Parenthood's radical sex education ally SIECUS, and being pushed in Helena by Planned Parenthood, is in sync with Planned Parenthood's worldwide plans for sexualizing young children. It is urgent that we stand with the parents in Helena who are fighting this abominable curriculum. Please contact Helena School Board chair Michael O'Neill by email: mioneil@helena.k12.mt.us or phone the superintendent of schools, Bruce Messinger at 406-324-2001, or email him at bmessinger@helena.k12.mt.us. Let them know that this proposed curriculum developed by SIECUS and pushed by Planned Parenthood should be scrapped. Make no mistake, this is what Planned Parenthood has planned for every school district in the nation. It is more important now than ever that parents throughout the nation band together, cover themselves and their children in prayer, and oppose Planned Parenthood sex education in their own communities. The STOPP website is devoted to stopping Planned Parenthood's relentless attacks on our children and our culture, and it contains a complete section on stopping Planned Parenthood sex ed in schools and keeping Planned Parenthood out of your schools. This is a proven plan that has worked time and time again. Planned Parenthood is pushing its supporters throughout the U.S. on a daily basis to oppose abstinence education and work for implementation of its graphic, salacious sex education in all public schools. This is the number one action item on Planned Parenthood Federation of America's website. We must push harder than Planned Parenthood, because the hearts, souls and very lives of our children depend on it. For more information on how Planned Parenthood's so called comprehensive sex education harms children, read Jim Sedlak's article on Fox News here. You can access his book, "Parent Power!! How Parents can gain Control of the School Systems that Educate their Children" here. | Planned Parenthood's cash cow, the "abortion pill", produced $48 million for PP in 2008 Tuesday, Sept. 28, marked the 10th anniversary of the approval of the only pill ever approved specifically for use in the U.S. for the purpose of killing a preborn baby - RU-486, now marketed as Mifeprex. A July 2009 Planned Parenthood study published in the New England Journal of Medicine reported that in 2008, a total of 96,738 medical (abortion pill) abortions were committed by Planned Parenthood in the U.S., representing 32% of first-trimester abortions in Planned Parenthood facilities. Planned Parenthood's website reports that an abortion-pill abortion costs between $350 to $650, so at an average cost of $500 per abortion, that means Planned Parenthood took in over $48 million in 2008 from abortions by pill. And all Planned Parenthood had to do to "earn" its blood money was to dispense a pill and send the women home to deal with extended profuse bleeding, sometimes horrific pain, and the emotional turmoil that comes with killing a child and then delivering the dead baby. The study says that in 2008, abortion-pill abortions were committed in 300 of Planned Parenthood's 880 facilities. 78 of Planned Parenthood's 97 affiliates (80 percent) were involved in the abortion pill business in 2008. With the advent of Planned Parenthood's telemed abortions, where the pill is dispensed vending machine style by a doctor who pushes a button from a remote location, Planned Parenthood is moving toward providing even less support to the women whose rights they say they champion. Telemed abortion takes the "right" to "safe, legal abortion" to a new level, denying the woman the right to a personal consult with the abortionist and extending its "compassion" via the image of an abortionist on a monitor screen, asking the woman if she is ready to begin the abortion process. | Planned Parenthood committed 21,702 late term abortions in 2008 Planned Parenthood often brags that it commits abortions early - as if that makes killing the child any less egregious - and has been known many times to say that what it is aborting is just tissue. Though Planned Parenthood doesn't report the number of late term abortions it commits, STOPP researchers did the math and found that the abortion giant committed 21,702 late term abortions in 2008. Here is how we arrived at that number. In 2008, Planned Parenthood Federation of America reports that it committed 324,008 abortions. The abortion giant also reports in its New England Journal of Medicine study cited above that it committed 96,738 medical (abortion pill) abortions representing 32% of first-trimester abortions in Planned Parenthood facilities. That means it committed 302,306 first trimester abortions in 2008. When we subtract the number of first trimester abortions committed at Planned Parenthood in 2008 (302,306) from the total number of abortions (324,008) we see that 21,702 late term abortions were committed by Planned Parenthood in 2008. Pro-life advocates have responded in so many heroic ways to lend real support to women so that they will not feel forced into abortion and are turning out in droves at Planned Parenthood facilities to pray and bear witness to the Gospel of Life. These are essential elements to stopping Planned Parenthood. But until we cut off Planned Parenthood's ever increasing sources of government funding, the abortion giant will continue to grow fatter and fatter as it gorges itself on the money it absorbs from the government, using that money to promote itself in the community and sexualize our children so that it can gobble up the money it generates by killing preborn children - including second and third trimester children -- at the apex of its business day. Visit the new STOPP website to find information on stopping government funding of Planned Parenthood, and please act now to implement the plan. | Jim Sedlak's EWTN and live appearances coming right up ALL vice president Jim Sedlak makes a special guest appearance on Johnette Benkovic's Women of Grace on EWTN October 4, 5 and 8. The lease had been for one day of office space per week in Coldwater, Sturgis, Hillsdale, and Three Rivers. According to the news report, the lease expires in 60 days, and it is unknown whether Planned Parenthood will continue its operations in the three county area. Congratulations to the pro-lifers in the area who turned up the heat on Planned Parenthood. Reminder: American Life League vice president Jim Sedlak will be in Michigan on Oct. 26. He will be the guest speaker at the Right to Life Michigan dinner in Three Rivers. The event takes place at A Place in Time Banquet Hall, from 6 pm to 9 pm. | New Jersey Planned Parenthood center shuts down for lack of government money Planned Parenthood has fulfilled its prediction that it would begin closing its New Jersey facilities due to the veto of $7.5 million in government funding by Governor Chris Christie. In keeping with Planned Parenthood's pattern of closing facilities that do not receive the stream of profit generated by surgical and medical abortions, it chose to close the Cherry Hill location on Haddonfield Road, which is a contraceptive facility. It is reportedly transferring Cherry Hill clients to other Planned Parenthood facilities in the area. "This is a very frustrating and perplexing time for us as public health providers," a Planned Parenthood official told the Courier Post. Congratulations to the people of Cherry Hill who no longer suffer under the weight of Planned Parenthood's presence in their community. We look forward to the closure of the remaining Planned Parenthood facilities in New Jersey while encouraging pro-lifers in other states to take note of what a difference a pro-life governor can make! | Bringing Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary at 40 Days for Life: Saving lives in Virginia Beach Louantha Kerr sent us photos from the 40 Days for Life kickoff rally at Planned Parenthood in Virginia Beach, VA. One of the pictures features young women embracing a life-size image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The response to 40 Days for Life in Virginia Beach has been outstanding, and the group's website reports in its first week update that two babies have been saved there. The report of the latest save comes to us from the Virginia Beach 40 Days for Life team. A woman came out of the Planned Parenthood facility crying, and approached the team, telling them she had changed her mind. They were able to give her information regarding help that is available for her. We don't know whether the image was present when the young lady changed her mind about abortion, but we do know that people are often moved by the picture of Our Lady of Guadalupe, especially Catholics and those of Hispanic descent, and many babies lives have been spared because Our Lady was at the killing center. Don't forget to take Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary each time you go out to the Planned Parenthood facilities to pray. | Support STOPP STOPP INTERNATIONAL is totally supported by free-will donations from concerned people.
