DEACON FOR LIFE

Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

Babies of Mozambique Targeted for Abortion Program

My last few Spirit & Life columns have addressed the fact that abortion is demonic ... a huge spiritual vortex of sin pulling people into it. It is a spiritual power that negates God's plan for love, life and the family. And because it destroys souls as well as bodies, abortion is the devil's masterpiece of evil.

Well, the devil and his minions are on the verge of adding Mozambique to its collection of evil masterpieces. There may yet be time to stop him ... but only if you act now!

Our man on the ground in Mozambique is Emil Hagamu. He sent me an urgent report on the dire threat that is about to fall on the Mozambique nation ... as well as his plans to rally the people to defeat this diabolical campaign to legalize abortion-on-demand.

But he only has a month to do this ... maybe less. The government could act as quickly as two weeks from now. That's why your help is so urgently needed today ... RIGHT NOW in fact!

Emil assures me that the people of Mozambique are ready to fight. But, they need HLI to equip them with the information and materials they need to defeat the abortion demon. Knowing this, Emil has put together a three-part offensive that will give the people a way to stop the abortion juggernaut. Here is his plan of action:

I.	RADIO: Radio Mozambique will air two pro-life programs each week for the next three weeks. The programs will alert the people of Mozambique about (a) the evil of abortion, (b) the deadly Maputo Protocol that threatens to impose abortion-on-demand on the entire African continent, and (c) the drive to legalize abortion in Mozambique.
II.	RACE TO SOUND THE ALARM: Emil is going to dash across Mozambique sounding the alarm. He will pass out our pro-life materials. Alert village leaders. Energize health officials, doctors, and nurses. Embolden the clergy to preach the Gospel of Life with fire. The rector of St. Pius X Major Seminary will work closely with him to energize Church officials.
III.	PEOPLE'S CONFERENCE: A forum where individuals can voice their outrage and make their firm opposition to abortion known to government officials. This Conference will be the VOICE OF THE PEOPLE ... and hard for the Mozambique leaders to ignore.

But again, time is working against Emil and the people of Mozambique. Even as you read this government officials are working with international agents of death to impose abortion on the country.

What I need you to do right now is:

Send HLI the largest gift you can so that we can fund Emil's plan to save Mozambique from becoming the devil's next masterpiece of evil.
PRAY for the people of Mozambique and the success of Emil's mission there.

HLI has no available funds to send Emil at this time. Every dollar is already committed to other fights raging around the world. The amount Emil needs right away is $7,151 -- $3,351 for the Radio programs and $3,800 for the "sound the alarm" race. I'll figure out how to fund the Conference later.
