SEBELIUS CONFIRMATION POSTPONED

STOP Sebelius campaign calls on Senators to Invoke Senatorial Courtesy

Dear friends,

We just got word that the confirmation of Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius to Health and Human Services Secretary has been postponed until the end of April.

That gives us one month to stop this pro-abortion radical and the grave threat she poses to each of our health.  'Senatorial Courtesy' may be the solution.

Sen. Sam Brownback and Pat Roberts have the power to invoke 'senatorial courtesy' – a longstanding Senate tradition of only confirming nominees if their home-state senators approve.

Sens. Brownback and Roberts may be able to reject the nomination and stop Sebelius.

However there's a challenge - both men have been under extreme scrutiny in the last month for their politically correct support for the nomination – despite their otherwise staunchly pro-life records.

In response, American Life League and others almost unanimously decried their actions and immediately called on the senators to rescind support for such a frighteningly pro-death nominee.

Will you help us convince Brownback and Roberts to stop Sebelius?

Please contact Sen. Brownback's and Sen. Roberts' offices. Ask them to stand up against this nomination and stop Sebelius by invoking senatorial courtesy!

U.S. Senator Sam Brownback - Phone: (202) 224-6521
U.S. Senator Pat Roberts - Phone: (202) 224-4774

Sincerely, in the Lord who IS Life,

Judie Brown,
President, American Life League
