Planned Parenthood CEO says it's cheaper to kill 'em   "It's cheaper to terminate an unwanted pregnancy rather than taking it to term."   The statement was made by Planned Parenthood of Maryland CEO John Nugent in January of 2010 in connection with the House attempt to exclude abortion from new government-funded health insurance plans.   Quoting the Forbes article:   Health Care Blue Book confirms the price difference. An abortion performed in a physician's office typically costs $397. (These are estimates based on the site's database of in-network charges negotiated by insurers.)   A vaginal delivery costs $5,992, while a c-section is $8,558.   Don't expect the money arguments to get much airtime in Washington, even if the insurance companies have a financial stake in the outcome. "They won't talk about it," Nugent says.   The insurance companies won't talk about it, but Planned Parenthood will. Planned Parenthood has killed more than 1.5 million preborn babies over the past five years, raking in an estimated $691 million in blood money, based on the Guttmacher Institute's stated cost of an abortion.   Planned Parenthood will talk about the "financial benefits" of abortion only when it thinks it will further it's financial bottom line, as it prowls inner cities, satisfying its lust for money by killing the most innocent and helpless among us - the preborn. It is a psychopathic organization that knows no shame.   Surely, any person with eyes can see that Planned Parenthood has a vested interest in killing preborn babies, and in having government-funded insurance policies pay for it.

Black leader makes plea for PP to get out of minority neighborhoods Star Parker , this week addressing the recent HHS rule mandating the Planned-Parenthood-championed free birth control and sterilization, decried the predatory presence of Planned Parenthood in minority neighborhoods.   She is a former long-term welfare recipient, who escaped that deadly cycle. She is founder and president of CURE, the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, a 501c3 think tank which explores and promotes market-based public policy to fight poverty.   Star made an impassioned plea for Planned Parenthood to stop its assault on minorities as she debated attorney Tamara Holder on the devastating consequences of the free abortifacient contraceptive and sterilization mandate issued last week by HHS. Here is a snippet of what she said:   These entitlement debates are serious. When we get down to the bottom line of what we've been doing already in Medicaid - this is how I paid for my [4] abortions.   This Medicaid government intrusion into the healthcare industry - coming out of Washington and then mandating all this stuff on the states - it is utter confusion and people's lives are at stake as a result. So yeah, I would prefer that she does not come into these inner cities and pass this stuff. Planned Parenthood perverse sex indoctrination facilitated by government grant to GLSEN Planned Parenthood collaborated in the GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) scandal that has come to be known as "Fistgate", and often partners with GLSEN in presenting workshops that push homosexual activity in startling graphic detail to adolescents.   The abortion behemoth's partnership with GLSEN will now benefit from a $1.425 million grant just awarded by the Centers for Disease Control to GLSEN.   According to a GLSEN media release, "the award will help reach 14,500 school personnel and 4 million students." It goes on to say that, "GLSEN will partner with 20 targeted school districts across the country, including the 16 DASH-funded districts, to implement a comprehensive evidence-based program to help keep LBGT students safe and healthy."   DASH is the Department of Adolescent and School Health (DASH) at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Its website pinpoints the 16 DASH-funded school districts:  Baltimore, Broward County (Fla.), Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Memphis, Miami-Dade County, New York City, Newark (N.J.), Orange County (Fla.), Palm Beach County (Fla.), Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle.   GLSEN's former executive director, Kevin Jennings, played a key role in the Obama administration as head of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools in the U.S. Department of Education, prior to his recent resignation after a two-year firestorm of publicity about his controversial past.   Jennings was at the helm of GLSEN in 2000 and 2001, when the 14 - 21 year oldattendees were taught how to perform an extremely dangerous sexually perverted practice at a GLSEN conference, and the next year when Planned Parenthood operated a booth at the conference offering kits to facilitate that dangerous sexual practice, ostensibly in a safer way.   The groundwork Jennings laid for GLSEN/government cooperation has now set up an extremely dangerous scenario for school children.   This is another example of how Planned Parenthood partners with other organizations to target our children, via use of taxpayer dollars. It is time to stop all public funding to Planned Parenthood and its cohorts. If your children are in one of the school districts receiving this funding, contact school officials immediately and object to the homosexual indoctrination the children are receiving via GLSEN and Planned Parenthood. You should also contact your local, state, and federal representatives and lodge your complaints. "Twin" of RU-486 covered in mandatory health care  One of the items mandated to be provided free of charge under the recent HHS rule as "preventive care" is Ella, or ulipristal. The drug is promoted in the U.S. as a "morning after pill."   But Pharmacists for Life, an American Life League associate group, characterizes ulipristal as a "twin" to RU-486, or mifepristone, which is used by Planned Parenthood to induce first trimester abortions. In fact, mifepristone has been at the forefront in contributing to Planned Parenthood's burgeoning abortion business.   While the chemical composition of ulipristal and mifepristone are not identical, they are extremely close.  Both are selective progesterone receptor modulators.   Quoting from Pharmacists for Life:   Mifepristone, RU-486, is the most regulated drug in the U.S. Pharmacists don't dispense it. It's supposed to be dispensed only by physicians, directly to patients. In China and other countries it has been used as a morning after pill, as well as a killer of later embryos and early fetuses.   Those astute drug companies knew that this drug would not sell as a morning after pill in the U.S. That's why we have it's TWIN, Ulipristal Acetate, approved by the FDA in August , 2010. At 0.5mg/kg, Ulipristal Acetate, marketed as ELLA, is usable as a morning after pill. It's marketed as an inhibitor of ovulation, but the manufacturer admits that the operative mechanism depends on the timing of its use. Like RU-486, Ulipristone is an anti-progesterone. It stops the action of that hormone in the reproductive tract, inhibits proliferation of the endometrium, inhibits implantation, and kills the embryo.   When used as a morning after pill, Ella accomplishes this very early, before implantation. At higher doses, this drug can kill later embryos and fetuses just like its twin, mifepristone.   Ella is among the drugs recommended for free distribution under the upcoming Obamacare, which will exacerbate complicity of all taxpayers with chemical [medical] abortion, and add to the problems of conscientiously objecting health care workers.   The Pharmacists for Life article is full of valuable information for those who are fighting Planned Parenthood and the government mandate that the abortion-inducing drug ulipristal be provided free of charge. In conjunction with that theme, a hard-hitting webpage has been designed that brings together in one place much of the highly objectionable and easily accessible sexually explicit information that Planned Parenthood foists on unsuspecting parents and children through its websites, programs, and resources. While the content of the Planned Parenthood materials is shocking and disgusting, it is necessary that those in decision-making positions in communities, as well as parents and those who have contact with children, be aware of Planned Parenthood's true agenda. And there is no better way of exposing the abortion giant than through its own words and resources.   Our Lady has brought about many recent victories for the pro-life group. Prominent among those is the withdrawal of most of the sponsors of the annual Nobody's Foolconference. Collapse of community support signals the beginning of the end for the Planned Parenthood affiliate. In fact, Planned Parenthood of Austin has taken over leadership of the Waco affiliate in an eleventh hour attempt to salvage the abortion business.   Congratulations to Pro-Life Waco for your prophetic boldness that is snatching Planned Parenthood's cover, leading to its imminent demise.
