Lawyer sues to allow abortion when unborn can feel pain

If you're like me, this is going to astound you.

A lawyer in Idaho is suing to prevent the state from protecting unborn children who are capable of feeling pain. His lawsuit would throw out the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, passed in Idaho and several other states in the past year.

How on earth could someone want to overturn a law that protects the lives of unborn children who can feel pain? Could anything be more barbaric?

National Right to Life has led the way to pass laws that protect these babies. Research shows many unborn children are able to feel excruciating pain and we believe it is our moral responsibility to prevent that.

While National Right to Life continues to work hard to protect the life of every unborn baby, legal experts think right now there is a good chance a majority of the current Supreme Court will uphold laws protecting unborn children who are capable of feeling pain.

The test of that important legal question is about to begin.

This lawsuit threatens the constitutionality of pro-life laws everywhere, so National Right to Life will have to conduct this fight state by state -- perhaps even courtroom by courtroom. We will not stand back and let pro-abortion radicals threaten the progress we’ve made in passing ever stronger legislation to protect innocent human lives.

Please contribute generously -- today and in the future -- to National Right to Life so we can stop this suffering and protect the lives and dignity of the most innocent among us – vulnerable unborn children.
