Cardinal Dinardo says he wants to see the pro-life office work more closely with other USCCB departments
...noting the participation in health care press releases of the office for domestic affairs, for instance. Or to take another example, when the immigration issue is taken up by the next congress, he hopes the pro-life office will also participate in shaping that discussion.

China's Cassandra Prophecy
The Government's 2020 vision has been blind-sided by a think tank's report on its population policy disaster. The main concern raised by the CASS report is that 24 million men condemned to a life alone will result in a major strain on the State welfare system. Essentially, without families of their own to care for them as this generation starts ageing, the State will need to step in with sufficient pension funds and aged care facilities for the old bachelors of the latter decades of the 21st Century.

Conservative Britain? I Don't Think So
Figures show that most people seem to approve of an entire social agenda which, just a couple of decades ago, would have seemed anathema: same-sex unions, adoption of children by homosexual couples, abortion on demand.

CNN's Rick Sanchez Not Sure Who's Protesting At Annual Pro-Life March in D.C.
Near the end of the 3PM ET hour of CNN's Rick's List on Friday, host Rick Sanchez couldn't seem to figure out who was protesting at the March for Life in Washington D.C.: "It's the 37th anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade case....both sides being represented today, but it does appear to me, as I look at these signs that – which side is represented the most....Do we know?" As Rick puzzled over which side was more represented, live footage appeared on screen showing a seemingly equal number of pro-abortion and pro-life protestors.

Young Activists Adding Fuel to Antiabortion Side - Washington Post
I went to the March for Life rally Friday on the Mall expecting to write about its irrelevance. Isn't it quaint, I thought, that these abortion protesters show up each year on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, even though the decision still stands after 37 years. How wrong I was.
