Think about that again after reading John Jalsevac’s story, Long Live Christmas! Fr. John Harvey was a very special person. Editor John-Henry Westen and myself participated in a meeting of US leaders the past three years at which Fr. Harvey was present each time. The last one was only this past September. Fr. Harvey took an active role. His sharp wit, always engaging personality and pointed comments and questions added a special element to the proceedings. He will be greatly missed. Chilean President Sebastián Piñera, a strong pro-lifer, was an international inspiration during the dramatic rescue of the Chilean miners.
