Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

Mary's Shelter: We are Proud to Announce...
Greetings from Mary's Shelter!
We hope you are having a wonderful beginning to the New Year. We are off to a busy start here in Fredericksburg. For one thing, we have 7 baby announcements to make! Aren't they precious?
Babies Jerome, Zion, Robert, Jeremiah, Arielle, Jaliyah, and Zoey.
And as if that weren't enough, we have yet another exciting announcement to make!
As some of you may know, Students for Life of America hosts a National Conference every year, inviting guest speakers from all over the country to help educate and equip students as well as advance the cause of the pro-life movement. At this event, they honor four 'unsung heroes'- people who serve everyday to strengthen the cause for Life, and who will one day be remembered for their grassroots efforts - with a special award: the Everyday Hero.
We are so pleased and honored to announce that our very own Executive Director, Kathleen Wilson, has been chosen to receive one of these awards on behalf of Mary's Shelter!
The conference is sold-out and, with over 2000 registered attendees, the largest of its kind in the world, so we are extremely humbled to be a part of it.
Students for Life has also completed their new video called "Turn the Tide 2012" which features a couple of mothers from Mary's Shelter! Definitely check it out!
