Obama Mandate Forces First Catholic College to Drop Insurance
Franciscan University appears to be the first casualty of the new Obama HHS mandate that requires Catholic colleges, groups and businesses to pay for drugs that may cause abortions and birth control for their employees.

Although President Barack Obama declared "If you like your health care coverage you can keep it," when it came to passing Obamacare, a Catholic college in Ohio has determined it will no longer offer a student health insurance plan.

"The Obama Administration has mandated that all health insurance plans must cover "women's health services" including contraception, sterilization, and abortion-causing medications as part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA)," the university says in a new post on its website. "Up to this time, Franciscan University has specifically excluded these services and products from its student health insurance policy, and we will not participate in a plan that requires us to violate the consistent teachings of the Catholic Church on the sacredness of human life." http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/15/obama-mandate-forces-catholic-college-to-drop-insurance/

"War on Women" Rhetoric Backfires, Romney Leads With Women
The "War on Women" rhetoric President Barack Obama and top Democrats have used to attack GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and pro-life advocates standing up for religious freedom has backfired.

A new CBS News/New York Times poll shows Obama's support among women has dropped five percentage points over the last two months, going from 49% to 44%. Romney has seen his support with women go up three percent from 43% to 46%, according to the survey.

Mike Flynn, of the conservative Big Government web site, noticed the poll and writes, "Mind you, that isn't GOP woman or even independent women, but ALL women voters." http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/15/war-on-women-rhetoric-backfires-romney-leads-with-women/

Pro-Abortion Group NARAL Endorses Obama for Re-Election
President Barack Obama today secured the endorsement of one of the leading pro-abortion groups, NARAL, in his bid to win another four-year term in the White House, where he has steadfastly pushed the abortion agenda and taxpayer funding of abortions.

"I'm proud to announce that NARAL Pro-Choice America PAC is endorsing President Barack Obama for re-election," outgoing NARAL president Nancy Keenan said in a email today to supporters that LifeNews obtained. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/15/pro-abortion-group-naral-endorses-obama-for-re-election/

President George W. Bush Endorses Mitt Romney

Study: Repeat Abortions Greatly Raise Breast Cancer Risk
A new study published in the Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention in February reported a very statistically significant increased risk of breast cancer for women with previous abortions as opposed to women who have never         had one.

The study, consisting of 1,351 women and led by researcher Ai-Ren Jiang, reported a statistically significant 1.52-fold elevation in risk for women with induced abortions and a "significant dose-response relationship between (the risk) for breast cancer and number of induced abortions," meaning the risk climbed with a higher number of previous abortions.

A second hearing in as many weeks in Congress on the issue of forced abortions saw human rights campaigner Chen Gugnacheng call in again to voice his opinion and talk more about the situation he and his family and supporters face in China.

"I want to talk about what happened to my other family members after I escaped from my home," he told members of Congress, media outlets, and top human rights activists who testified before the panel today. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/05/15/chen-guangcheng-im-not-a-hero-must-oppose-forced-abortions/
