EXPERTS GATHER TO DISCUSS ASPECTS OF 'THE PILL' UNDER-REPORTED IN MEDIA
Symposium scheduled to coincide with Komen run
WASHINGTON, DC - May 31 -- With the recent government mandate that religious organizations must fund contraceptives, morning-after abortion drugs, and sterilization - in direct violation of their faith and religious liberty, American Life League will host a panel of nationally renowned experts on the medical, cultural, and spiritual impact of the birth control pill.

"The media rarely if ever reports the whole reality of "The Pill," said Paul Rondeau, executive director at ALL. "President Obama chose to make this a national health issue at taxpayer expense and at the risk of religious freedom. So, let's get out the rest of the story to women, husbands, teenagers about The Pill and its proven dangers to the health of women, minority communities, and our faith."

WHERE: Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Avenue, NW, Washington D.C.
WHEN: Saturday, June 2, 10-11:30 a.m. EDT
REGISTRATION to Attend or Watch Live Webcast at ThePillKills.com

Subject matter experts will include:
Dr. Angela Lanfranchi, M.D., board-certified breast cancer surgeon and clinical assistant professor of surgery at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, will reveal the pill's proven life-threatening health risks to women, which are never reported by the media.
Gloria Purvis, EWTN host, chairperson of Black Catholics United for Life, and board member for Washington, D.C.'s Northwest Pregnancy Center, will detail the pill's devastating impact on minority communities.
Dr. Pia de Solenni, ethicist, theologian, and recipient of the prestigious Prize of the Pontifical Academies, will address the theological aspect of the pill's effect on life issues, women's health, feminism, and culture.
There is no cost to attend the event in person or watch the live webcast. Seating is limited and registration is encouraged. Presentations will be followed by Q&A. It is open to the public and media is invited.
