Nurses at Catholic hospital in Fresno reject representation by pro-abortion nurses’ union
Nurses at St. Agnes Medical Center, a Catholic hospital in Fresno, have voted against allowing the California Nurses Association to represent them.
Of the 792 ballots cast in the two-day election, held May 21-22, 452 registered nurses at St. Agnes voted against CNA representation, while 327 voted yes. Thirteen ballots were contested. The total of 792 ballots cast represents a 94% turnout among the 844 registered nurses at St. Agnes Medical Center. The election was supervised by the National Labor Relations Board.
