DEACON FOR LIFE

Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

This came from Wynette Sills of 40 Days for Life, Sacramento in March 25 email.

I just spoke with Murray Lewis of Love Them Both Ministries, a local maternity home.

A woman who had come to the Sacramento Planned Parenthood clinic, 29th/B St, for an abortion, CHANGED her mind when the faithful sidewalk counselor gave her the list of resources to help her and her family. She already has two daughters, ages six and 14, is five months pregnant, and is being forced out of her home.

Abortion seemed like her only "solution", but she really did not want to end the life of her unborn child and is thankful for help we can give her. Therefore, we are doing all we can to help her find suitable and safe housing.

She is Spanish speaking. If you know of any place this mother & her two daughters can stay, at least temporarily, please call Murray Lewis at 916-483-8400.
