MEDIA ADVISORY, July 27 /Christian Newswire/ -- Colorado's Personhood Amendment 62, sponsored by Colorado Right to Life and Personhood Colorado, has announced their strategy to promote the life-affirming Personhood Amendment 62.
Speakers included Dr. Alan Keyes, Walter Hoye, Bishop Phillip Porter, and Lolita Hanks of Colorado Right to Life.
The official 62 campaign strategy includes the groundbreaking website, mycampaigntracker.org, which was designed to capitalize on the grassroots personhood movement in Colorado, and will be utilized to saturate the state with grassroots activity through November's election.
"Each and every human being represents an inviolable dignity that comes not from men, but from God . . . and is not dependent on stage of development," stated Dr. Alan Keyes, UN Ambassador under Ronald Reagan and longtime pro-life advocate.
Amendment 62 supporters also announced one of the campaign's primary messages, "Persons Not Property", which focuses on the fact that children in the womb are treated as property, not as individuals.
"Passing Amendment 62 this November not only reflects what the Pro-Life movement will look like victorious, it sends a very clear message: 'Persons are not property.' Vote YES for Amendment 62," Pastor Walter Hoye, Founder of Issues4Life and California Civil Rights Foundation.
"We have human rights because we are made in our Creator's image and likeness," said amendment co-sponsor Leslie Hanks, of Colorado Right to Life, "and therefore we have a moral obligation to protect and love our children, born and preborn."
Personhood Colorado is a grassroots organization comprised of Colorado citizens who value all human life, from biological beginning to natural death. Personhood Colorado has sponsored the Personhood Amendment to the Colorado constitution, which reads: "Section 32. Person defined. As used in sections 3*, 6**, and 25*** of Article II of the state constitution, the term "person" shall apply to every human being from the beginning of the biological development of that human being."

Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.
