Planned Parenthood found negligent in child sex abuse case An Ohio court has found Planned Parenthood guilty of negligence in a child sexual abuse case. Judge Jody Leubbers held Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio responsible for not following the law that requires abortion personnel meet with the person seeking an abortion 24 hours in advance to explain the risks of the abortion and explain other options. It is also alleged that Planned Parenthood failed to obtain parental consent for the minor's abortion, as required by law. The case involves a 14-year-old who was repeatedly sexually assaulted by her 22-year-old soccer coach. Further, the abortion giant did not notify law enforcement of the sexual assault. In fact, to obtain the "parental consent" required by law for the abortion, Planned Parenthood personnel called a cell phone number given to them by the child victim. The man who answered the phone and gave the consent was the abuser himself - a scenario which can be reasonably anticipated and which has undoubtedly played out time and time again in Planned Parenthood centers throughout the nation. The judge has left it open to a jury to determine whether Planned Parenthood made adequate attempts to contact the child's parents. Brian Hurley, the attorney who sued Planned Parenthood on behalf of the young girl's parents, is also pursuing another negligence charge in a child abuse case against Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region. In that case it is alleged that Planned Parenthood failed to notify authorities about the sexual abuse of a young girl by her father. Because Planned Parenthood did not report the incest to the authorities, the girl's father continued to abuse her for another 18 months until she told someone else who alerted the authorities. Planned Parenthood continues to deny responsibility in both cases. Two pro-life groups, Life Dynamics, Inc. and Live Action have repeatedly provided evidence showing Planned Parenthood's willingness to cover up child sexual abuse and have turned over the proof to local authorities. Yet Planned Parenthood continues to thumb its nose at the law and proceed in peddling death with no regard to the limiting laws that are in place. We must read the writing on the wall and understand that Planned Parenthood will continue its firmly established pattern of ignoring limitations on its abortion business until abortion is outlawed. What does it matter to the abortion giant if it is required to pay a few thousand dollars in damages and restitution for enabling a child abuser, when it is absolutely wallowing in taxpayer and abortion-derived money, with more on the way. It is absolutely necessary that all pro-life advocates begin to work to enact personhood laws to protect each individual from the earliest moments of biological development. Until that happens, Planned Parenthood will continue to fight and skirt every limitation that is placed upon its killing business. An excellent Personhood primer is available in brochure format from our web store. | Planned Parenthood installing sexual assault exam suites as a part of the expansion of its business As Planned Parenthood continues its massive expansion of its abortion business while phasing out those centers that do not commit surgical or medical abortions, we have seen two recent instances of the abortion profiteer promoting sexual assault exam suites that are being incorporated into the design of its new centers, one in Nebraska and one in Iowa. In light of the Ohio charges against Planned Parenthood in child sexual assault cases and all the evidence produced by pro-life groups proving that Planned Parenthood refuses to follow the law in cases of sexual abuse, is it a good idea to entrust Planned Parenthood as an exam center for victims of sexual assault? Certainly, if Planned Parenthood can establish itself as "the" exam center in a community for victims of sexual assault, it will no longer have to fight the many hospitals that do not prescribe the abortifacient "emergency contraceptives" that Planned Parenthood hawks; it will have the girls and women in its clutches from the beginning and can rest assured that any child conceived by rape or incest will die for the sins of his or her father. Planned Parenthood leaves no stone unturned in dredging up money to build its facilities and expand its abortion business. ObamaCare earmarks $11 billion for expansion of community health centers. It is time to inundate our elected representatives with the message that we must defund and repeal ObamaCare and that no government funds should ever flow to Planned Parenthood, the world's largest abortion chain. | Woman silenced at New Jersey hearing on Planned Parenthood funding tells her story We reported in our November 25, 2009, Wednesday STOPP Report that Darlene Dunn was silenced by members of the New Jersey senate budget committee when she attempted to tell the story of how Planned Parenthood coerced her into an abortion. She gets a chance to tell her story on www.theunchoice.com, a website that highlights the high incidence of coerced, forced and unwanted abortion in America. At her initial appointment at Planned Parenthood, Dunn says that she was told she couldn't have the baby because "you're too young, you have no money, you aren't married." The story that follows is harrowing, and reveals that Planned Parenthood will stop at nothing to separate young pregnant girls from the influence of their parents in order to sell abortions: "They said we couldn't tell our parents because it would disappoint them," she explained. "I said I would consider placing the baby for adoption. The counselor's response was, 'Oh, my God, you could never do that. That's the cruelest thing you could ever do to a baby.' I started crying and said, 'I'm adopted.' Her response was, 'I don't care; that's still the cruelest thing to do to a child.' "There were no connotations of anything bad about the abortion, only about having the baby," she said. "I was crying and pacing around the room, and the counselor was yelling at me - she raised her voice - 'You can't have a baby.' ... There was not a drop of compassion; she was very cold." Though Dunn fought the abortion for seven long weeks, in the end Planned Parenthood and her boyfriend prevailed. "The one thing I remember about the actual abortion is the nurse saying, 'I hope I never see you here again,' just before the abortion took place," she said. "I remember thinking, "I will be back here because I hate myself ... nothing matters anymore." There you have it from the mouth of one who has suffered and continues to suffer the most severe trauma at the hands of Planned Parenthood. How long will we continue to fund this abortion machine called Planned Parenthood? Add this story to your arsenal for use in the defunding of Planned Parenthood. Quote it whenever your local Planned Parenthood says they are "trusting women to make their own decisions." Shout it from the rooftops and rest assured that in the end truth will prevail in this battle of evil vs. good.
| Michigan protest planned to stop Planned Parenthood's advance Pro-life advocates near Auburn Hills, Michigan, are encouraged to participate in the first pro-life demonstration at 1625 Opdyke Road, the site recently purchased by Planned Parenthood for the expansion of its deadly business. The prayer-filled vigil is scheduled from 11 am to 12:30 pm December 17. Parking is available one mile away at Heritage Baptist Church, 2024 Pontiac Road. Shuttle service will be available to the Planned Parenthood site.
| Bringing Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary: Rejoicing on the third Sunday of Advent On the third Sunday of Advent, Dec. 12, we celebrated the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas and of the Preborn. She is invoked as Patroness of the Preborn because she appeared pregnant with the Child Jesus in this apparition, and because upon her arrival in Mexico, millions of indigenous Mexicans were converted, halting the practice of human sacrifice which had been long been embraced by the Aztec society. The third Sunday of Advent is set aside from the remaining three Sundays as a special day of rejoicing. How prophetic, then, that the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe should fall on Gaudete (Rejoice) Sunday this year when, according to the Catholic Encyclopedia, "the faithful are called upon to worship and hail with joy 'The Lord who is now nigh and close at hand'. "The Epistle again incites us to rejoicing, and bids us prepare to meet the coming Saviour with prayers and supplication and thanksgiving, while the Gospel, the words of St. John Baptist, warns us that the Lamb of God is even now in our midst, though we appear to know Him not. The spirit of the Office and Liturgy all through Advent is one of expectation and preparation for the Christmas feast as well as for the second coming of Christ, and the penitential exercises suitable to that spirit are thus on Gaudete Sunday suspended, as it were, for a while in order to symbolize that joy and gladness in the Promised Redemption which should never be absent from the heart of the faithful." In the same spirit, our campaign to bring Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary evokes rejoicing, because even as the killing goes on, and those at Planned Parenthood do not appear to recognize Him, we make Our Lord present through his Mother at the killing center, and in His presence we rejoice as we are assured of the final victory over death. Our Lady always brings Jesus, and together they will stop the sacrifice of children on Planned Parenthood's altars of death -- altars built on the cash generated by the blood of the innocent children that is shed there. Bring Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary. Then, rejoice! Christ is at hand. | Victory: Companies cease support of Planned Parenthood, dropped from boycott list Doug Scott, president of Life Decisions International (LDI), said in an email recently that he generally expects two or three corporations will stop funding Planned Parenthood and will be dropped from his Planned Parenthood boycott list between each updating. But the past few months have brought an unusually high number of corporations that have withdrawn their support for the abortion behemoth. In fact, eleven companies were on the July 2010 list that have now ceased supporting Planned Parenthood. Those corporations that have withdrawn support for Planned Parenthood include Cisco Systems, Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, Enterprise, Forbes, Franchise Services, ING, Red Lion Hotels, Rolex, Toys 'R' Us, Kenneth Cole, and Trader Joe's. This is the highest number of companies ever withdrawing support of Planned Parenthood between updates of the Boycott List. Congratulations to LDI and to all of you who took the time to contact the corporations on the list to let them know you are boycotting their products and services because of their support of Planned Parenthood. And remember, each time you raise your voice against the abortion giant, you may be influencing a corporation or a local community organization to stop funding this controversial, death-dealing organization. The latest edition of the Boycott List can be ordered online from Life Decisions International. | Support STOPP STOPP INTERNATIONAL is totally supported by free-will donations from concerned people.
