Planned Parenthood's war on the family
By Rita Diller
Commentary_shattered
Behind Planned Parenthood's favorite slogan, "Every child a wanted child," is a sinister agenda that strikes with deadly force at the child-the very heart of the family.
The late 1960s was a time when our brothers and best friends were disappearing from our ranks as they headed to Vietnam. Many never came back; others were forever horribly wounded-physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Planned Parenthood settles with state on Medicaid payments
Crain's Chicago Business
Planned Parenthood of Illinois has agreed to pay the state $367,000 to settle a dispute over alleged overbilling of the Medicaid program by the non-profit's medical director. Dr. Caroline Hoke, an obstetrician-gynecologist and the organization's medical director since 2007, had been under threat of termination from the state Medicaid program since 2010, when the inspector general of the Department of Healthcare and Family Services sought to recover allegedly improper payments.

Planned Parenthood petitions Fifth Circuit to rehear en banc decision restricting

Texas women's access to health care
ENews Park Forest
This week, Planned Parenthood affiliates in Texas filed a petition to ask the entire Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals to rehear the State of Texas's appeal of a preliminary injunction that blocked a rule barring Planned Parenthood from participating in the Women's Health Program. On August 21, a three-judge panel of the Fifth Circuit reversed the district court's preliminary injunction, and found that barring providers with the name "Planned Parenthood" from the Women's Health Program likely does not violate the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. In the petition filed today, Planned Parenthood argues the three-judge panel made exceptional mistakes, in violation of Supreme Court precedent, that warrant closer review by the full court.

LIFE wristband dropped in Walmart
parking lot, saves baby from abortion
LifeSiteNews
Rachel remembers being excited as she purchased a red Bound4LIFE bracelet with the single word LIFE engraved on it. Wearing the bracelet wasn't a fad or fashion statement for her, but a sign of her commitment to pray daily for the ending of abortion. But one day, as Rachel was loading groceries into her car from Walmart, the LIFE Band inexplicably slipped off her wrist and landed on the parking lot, without her even knowing it had happened.
