| Targeting the black community----Part two By Stephen E. Broden Eugenics is alive and well and, in more cases than not, blacks are their targets. In 2005, Life Issues Institute completed a study that concluded there is a strategic intent behind Planned Parenthood's placement of its abortion facilities. In 2011, Life Dynamics examined, zip code by zip code, the placement of abortion centers throughout the United States. Again, it was concluded that race is a factor in the location of abortion centers, with the lion's share of them located in urban areas where blacks reside. Nothing was more chilling than the interactive map created by the Chiaroscuro Foundation that reveals where abortions are occurring in New York City. Using 2010 data, a zip code analysis shows blacks are leading in the rate of abortion. The 60 percent abortion rate confirmed that more black babies are aborted than are born alive.[ Click here to read more. ] | | |
HEADLINES | | Live Action Advocate undercover video investigation documents Planned Parenthood lying to the public Live Action Advocate A new Live Action Advocate undercover investigation catches Planned Parenthood, the nation's biggest abortion business, lying about recent medical emergencies at its abortion clinics and claiming no women have been hurt there. The Live Action Advocate video released today also reminds the public about the close political ties between President Obama and Planned Parenthood, which receives almost half a billion dollars a year in government money. Just last week, the Obama campaign released a video aimed at women voters featuring Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards. |
| Why Planned Parenthood won't provide mammograms First Things Why doesn't Planned Parenthood just offer mammograms? Doing so would do real good while saving their public defenders from credibility diminishing lies. The answer may lie in what economists call the "contribution margin." The contribution margin of each procedure is the marginal profit per unit of sale and thus the amount each procedure contributes to the coverage of fixed costs (such as executive compensation) and to profits. The problem for Planned Parenthood-which thinks and acts much more like a business than most people realize-is that mammograms are much less profitable than the relatively lucrative procedure of abortion. |
| Scientists make embryos with 2 women, 1 man USA Today Scientists in the U.S. have created embryos with genes from one man and two women, using a provocative technique that someday could be used to prevent babies from inheriting certain rare incurable diseases. The researchers at Oregon Health & Sciences University said they are not using the embryos to produce children, and it is not clear when or even if the technique will be put to use. But it has already stirred a debate over its risks and ethics in Britain, where scientists did similar work a few years ago. NOTE: The scientists created an embryo (i.e., a new life) but are "not using the embryos to produce children" (i.e., not implanting the child in a uterus for further growth and development) therefore, the newly created child has been frozen for additional research later or has been allowed to die. | |
