Judge Rules Against Forcing Mentally Disabled Woman s Abortion
Nevada District Court Judge Egan Walker has agreed that a pregnant 32-year-old mentally disabled woman will not be forced to have an abortion against her will.

Judge Walker has taken the potential abortion off the table and will hold a medical evidentiary hearing with experts to determine the best way to safely help the woman carry her pregnancy to term and have the baby. Pro-Abortion House Democrat Leader Pelosi Will Stay On
Drowning speculation that she might step down from her post as the top Democrat in the House of Representatives, pro-abortion Rep. Nancy Pelosi confirmed she will seek the post again the next session of Congress.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice is facing opposition from Senate Republicans in her possible bid to replace pro-abortion Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Sen. Ohio Panel OKs Bill to De-Fund Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz
A Ohio legislative panel today approved legislation that will revoke taxpayer funding for the Planned Parenthood abortion business. The vote is the first step in a long legislative battle to protect Ohio taxpayers.

The Ohio Health & Aging Committee voted this afternoon 11-9 to send HB 298 to the floor of the state legislature. Pro-Life Congresswoman Wins Key House GOP Leadership Spot
Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers a pro-life congresswoman from Washington state, was elected House Republican Conference chair, making her the highest-ranked Republican woman in the House of Representatives.

McMorris Rodgers occupies the fourth-highest leadership position in the party, which will again be headed by pro-life Speaker John Boehner and pro-life Majority Leader Eric Cantor. She defeated pro-life Georgia Rep. United Nations Calls Access to Birth Control a Human Right
The United Nation s Population Fund has issued an annual report describing access to birth control and contraception as a universal human right for women and adolescents.

The is the first time the UN agency has labeled birth control a right, although the report is not legally binding on any nations and does not affect or alter the laws of any country in any way. Heroic Media, a pro-life organization that uses multimedia to present life-affirming resources to pregnant women, has released its newest video The Adoption Option in honor of National Adoption Month.

Each year more than 6 million women become pregnant, almost half of which are unplanned pregnancies, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Heroic Media seeks to educate women facing unexpected pregnancies, particularly those in their 20s, regarding the benefits of adoption.
