Pro-Life Leaders Vow: We Will Not Give Up Fighting Abortion
Leaders of top pro-life groups are unanimous in their response to last night’s presidential election, vowing to not give up fighting abortion and the funding of the Planned Parenthood abortion business.

“Now is not the time to give up, but instead, I hope I can count on you to join me in fighting the President’s radical pro-abortion agenda for the next four years,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser of the Susan B. Anthony List. “Together, we will win this fight. Don’t lose faith. Unborn children and women are counting on us.” http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/pro-life-leaders-vow-we-will-not-give-up-fighting-abortion/
Activists: Romney Should Have Pressed Pro-Life Issues More
Top prolife activists say Mitt Romney should have pressed pro-life issues more on the campaign trail than he did — drawing a starker contrast between his pro-life views and President Barack Obama’s abortion record.

“Barack Obama’s re-election is a tragedy for the country. It is also the latest in a series of missed opportunities for the Republican Party. Voters overwhelmingly disagree with the extreme positions on abortion taken by President Obama and the Democrats,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, head of the Susan B. Anthony List. “Mitt Romney, the Republican Party, and their Super PAC allies never highlighted this vulnerability, despite the fact that our polling of likely swing voters revealed it to be a persuasive line of argument.” http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/activists-romney-should-have-pressed-pro-life-issues-more/

Republicans Should Re-Affirm Pro-Life Values, Not Why Romney Lost
The SBA List and our pro-life mission certainly had some bright spots last night with the election of a 2nd prolife woman in the Senate, Deb Fischer, as well as the retaining of Michele Bachmann, who was heavily targeted by the left, and the return of Steve King.
Those were three bright spots but overall not a great night movement for the pro-life movement, despite our growing power in the country among women, among almost every demographic. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/republicans-should-re-affirm-pro-life-values-not-why-romney-lost/

Planned Parenthood Spent $15 Million to Re-Elect Obama
The Planned Parenthood abortion business is jubilant about another four years of the United States under the helm of the most pro-abortion president in history. Although Planned Parenthood credits “women’s issues,” one women’s group says that’s not why Obama won.
Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Action Fund, commented on the Obama victory. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/planned-parenthood-spent-15-million-to-re-elect-obama/

Poll: Evangelical Turnout Increased in 2012 Over 2008
New polling data from the Faith and Freedom Coalition, headed by pro-life advocate Ralph Reed, shows that the evangelical turnout was up in 2012 for Mitt Romney compared to the 2008 numbers for John McCain.

The data makes it appear other reasons are behind the Romney loss to pro-abortion President Barack Obama last night than a failure of social conservative voters to support him. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/poll-evangelical-turnout-increased-in-2012-over-2008/

Pro-Lifers, Don’t Despair the Election, God is in Control
I’m sure that most of you, as I am, are a little shell-shocked at the result of the election. I was one of those optimists who believed we could elect a pro-life president and maybe even put a pro-life majority in place in the Senate.

Things didn’t turn out as we wanted, but it wasn’t for lack of trying. Pro-lifers all over the country did everything possible, going above and beyond the almost-unimaginable, putting their hearts and souls into this campaign. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/pro-lifers-dont-despair-the-election-god-is-in-control/
Despite Attacks on Catholics, They Vote to Re-Elect Obama
Despite a presidency that was based on attacks on Catholics, with aggressive promotion of abortion and attacks on religious liberty via the HHS mandate, President Barack Obama received the majority of Catholic votes on Tuesday.
Exit polling showed 25 percent of the electorate consisted of Catholic voters and they went for Obama by a 50-48 percentage point margin. Exit polls revealed that churchgoing Americans were more likely to vote for Romney and less frequent churchgoers sided with Obama. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/despite-attacks-on-catholics-they-vote-to-re-elect-obama/
Vatican Message to Obama on Election Includes Warning on Abortion
The Vatican has a message for President Barack Obama: congratulations on your re-election but get your act together on the issue of abortion and curtailing religious freedoms. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/vatican-message-to-obama-on-election-includes-warning-on-abortion/

Silver Lining: Pro-Life Candidates for Governor Win Victories
Four pro-life candidates won election as Governor this year. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/silver-lining-pro-lifer-candidates-for-governor-win-victories/

We Must Continue Fighting the Obama HHS-Abortion Mandate
Alliance Defending Freedom attorney Alan Sears tells pro-life advocates that they should expect more battles with the Obama administration over the controversial HHS mandate that forces religious employers to pay for birth control and abortion-causing drugs. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/we-must-continue-fighting-the-obama-hhs-abortion-mandate/

Pro-Life Group Demands Candidate Training After Akin Rape Dustup
One of the top pro-life political groups says it will change the way it endorses candidates following the national dustup over comments Missouri Republican candidate Todd Akin made during a Senate debate. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/pro-life-group-demands-candidate-training-after-akin-rape-dustup/

Woman Rushed to Hospital After Botched 22-Week Abortion

Planned Parenthood Unveils New Logo in Election Victory
The Planned Parenthood abortion business celebrated the victory of its presidential candidate Barack Obama by quietly unveiling two new logos. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/planned-parenthood-unveils-new-logo-in-election-victory/

Grief: The Silent Burden of a Post-Abortive Woman
I am defined, in some part at least, by the death of my extremely premature sons. My life changed during those days, waiting for their death and praying for them to live, and nothing was the same afterwards. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/06/grief-the-silent-burden-of-a-post-abortive-woman/

Planned Parenthood Tells Teenagers “It’s Great to be a Slut”
“There’s tons of ways that people define ‘slut.’ Most, though, are f’d up.” That’s the lead in for an MTV video targeting teens and tweens on Planned Parenthood’s Info for Teens Facebook page. This denigrating instructional video takes place in a classroom setting and encourages young girls to become promiscuous and emphasizes that others should respect them because, as sluts, they are “confident in their sexuality.. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/planned-parenthood-tells-teenagers-its-great-to-be-a-slut/

Massachusetts Fails to Become Third to Legalize Assisted Suicide
A coalition of pro-life groups, churches, disability rights advocates and doctors and nurses joined forces to defeat an effort by euthanasia proponents to make Massachusetts the third state to legalize assisted suicide. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/massachusetts-fails-to-become-third-to-legalize-assisted-suicide/

Why The Assisted Suicide Measure Lost in Massachusetts
Massachusetts voters have held the culture of death at bay for at least a little while longer in the USA, depriving backers of assisted suicide with an Eastern Front from which to spread the poison. It’s a good result that I don’t think could be duplicated in Europe. Much can be learned. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/why-the-assisted-suicide-measure-lost-in-massachusetts/
