Exit Polling Data Shows Pro-Lifers Failed to Vote Pro-Life
Exit polling data from Tuesday s presidential election shows the pro-life movement may have itself to blame partly as pro-life voters failed to either show up to vote in the election or did not support pro-life candidate Mitt Romney if they did.

In May, Gallup reported that the percentage of Americans who identify themselves as supporting legalized abortion has dropped to a record low. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/08/exit-polling-data-shows-pro-lifers-failed-to-vote-pro-life/

Pro-Abortion Attorney General Eric Holder May Leave Obama Admin
Attorney General Eric Holder, who has upset pro-life advocates with his repeated efforts to prosecute lawful pro-life protestors, his failure to prosecute abortion industry abuses and his wife s co-ownership of an abortion clinic, may be leaving the Obama administration.

News reports today indicate Holder might not be sticking around for a second term. CBS News indicates Holder told law school students at the University of Baltimore School of Law he doesn t know for sure if he will be a part of the second Obama administration, saying he wants to weigh his options with his family. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/08/pro-abortion-attorney-general-eric-holder-may-leave-obama-admin/

Obama Admin Prosecuting Pro-Lifers Before They Have Cases
An attorney for a pro-life sidewalk counselor who gives women information about abortion alternatives outside abortion clinics today shared some inside information about the Obama administration s campaign against pro-life people.

Pro-life attorney Rebecca Messall told CBN News talked about one case in particular, but said the Obama administration is attempting to put together cases on pro-life advocates even before allegedly finding they violated any laws. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/08/obama-admin-prosecuting-pro-lifers-before-they-have-cases/

Mike Huckabee Leads GOP for 2016 in Iowa, Hillary for Dems
Proving it s never too early to start thinking about the next election, a new poll surveying Iowa Democrats finds pro-abortion Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leading the pack of potential Democrats who may want to follow President Barack Obama. Republicans are mostly divided among several candidates.

In a poll that is really more of a measure of name identification than tangible support for a candidate at this ridiculously early juncture of the next campaign, Clinton places first followed by pro-abortion Vice President Joe Biden. At Biden s age and given his past failed attempts to secure the Democratic nomination, it seems highly unlikely he would consider another bid for the nomination. Still, Iowa Democrats know him and he ranked second. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/08/mike-huckabee-leads-gop-for-2016-in-iowa-hillary-for-dems/

Failure to Support Imperfect Pro-Life Candidates Hurts the Cause
Logic dictates that anyone who believes that life should be defended from the moment of conception would not only jump at the opportunity to promote the value of that life, but would be willing to do whatever it took to defeat the single most pro-abortion president ever elected, and help maintain a pro-life majority in the House of Representatives.

This was the assumption I was working under as I began making phone calls during the planning stages of several pro-life get-out-the-vote efforts in Florida. I believed then, as I do now that the greatest threat to the sanctity of life was the re-election of Barack Obama. What pro-lifer could disagree? http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/08/failure-to-support-imperfect-pro-life-candidates-hurts-the-cause/

Black Woman Supports Abortion: No Ugly Ass Nappy Headed Kids
This video barely came to light the day before the election but it bears bringing up because it points to a problem pro-life advocates face reaching the black community.

In the video of Obama supporters at a pre-election rally, a woman attacks Mitt Romney s pro-life views, specifically that he wants to make abortion illegal.

Pro-Life Sen. John Cornyn to Become Number Two Senate Republican
Despite a presidency that was based on attacks on Catholics, with aggressive promotion of abortion and attacks on religious liberty via the HHS mandate, President Barack Obama received the majority of Catholic votes on Tuesday.

Exit polling showed 25 percent of the electorate consisted of Catholic voters and they went for Obama by a 50-48 percentage point margin. Exit polls revealed that churchgoing Americans were more likely to vote for Romney and less frequent churchgoers sided with Obama. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/08/pro-life-sen-john-cornyn-to-become-number-two-senate-republican/

How Should Christians Respond to the Election? With Prayer
I wrote a blog last night, right after election results came in, which made some people angry. I have to admit it surprised me a bit because it was one of my shorter pieces, and it was laden with scripture. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/how-should-christians-respond-to-the-election-with-prayer/
