Obama Admin Still Trying to Force Bible Publisher to Obey HHS Mandate
The Obama Administration is still trying to enforce its abortion pill mandate against a Bible publisher which filed a lawsuit against it.
The mandate has generated massive opposition from pro-life groups because it forces employers, regardless of their religious or moral convictions, to provide insurance coverage for abortion-inducing drugs, sterilization, and contraception under threat of heavy penalties. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/15/obama-admin-still-trying-to-force-bible-publisher-to-obey-hhs-mandate/
Advocacy Group Formed to Push People Into Pro-Abortion Obamacare
A new liberal advocacy group has formed to push abortion-funding Obamacare on Americans and pressure them to sign up for the state exchanges that have it.
Enroll America, a newly formed advocacy group run by supporters of Obamacare, announced a new campaign today to sign up people for the government-run health care plan that contains no safeguards preventing taxpayer dollars from paying for abortions or going to abortion companies like Planned Parenthood. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/15/advocacy-group-formed-to-push-people-into-pro-abortion-obamacare/
Prayer Service Will Call on Obama to Change His Mind on Abortion
A national prayer service will call on pro-life advocates to pray for President Barack Obama and urge him to change his mind on his position favoring legalized abortion.
The National Memorial for the Preborn and their Mothers and Fathers is focused on calling on President Barack Obama to repent over his pro-abortion position.

Planned Parenthood Did 100,000 Fewer Breast Cancer Screenings
The Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) released two documents last week[1] showing that the abortion chain continues to grow its abortion business while its provision of other services continues to decline.
Among Planned Parenthood s significantly decreased services are its breast health services. That is especially ironic considering the media storm during the 2011/2012 Susan G. Komen Foundation grant changes. While Planned Parenthood has used breast health services as a major talking point in fund raising, that facts show it has become a smaller share of its efforts. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/15/planned-parenthood-did-100000-fewer-breast-cancer-screenings/
Catholic Bishops Launch Prayer Campaign Against Abortion, Roe
The nation s Catholic bishops have launched a major pastoral initiative calling for prayer and penance to help build a culture that is favorable to life, marriage and religious liberty.
The call to prayer and penance includes monthly Eucharistic Holy Hours in cathedrals and parishes, a daily family rosary, special Prayers of the Faithful at all Masses, fasting and abstinence on Fridays, and a second observance of a Fortnight for Freedom, says U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops Executive Director of the Secretariat of Pro-Life Activities Tom Grenchik. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/15/catholic-bishops-launch-prayer-campaign-against-abortion-roe/
Abortion s Terrible Consequence: The Shrinking Adoption Pool
With the recent decision by the Russian government to ban Americans from adopting children from their country, it is becoming more and more difficult for families who wish to provide a child with parents who will love them. While some families are not deterred by this news, they are becoming discouraged, as it is difficult to provide a loving home to children orphaned in America as well.
This morning, USA Today had an article about prospective parents having difficulties adopting children in the United States. The author of the article commented on the difficulties that many families have in even becoming foster parents. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/15/abortions-terrible-consequence-the-shrinking-adoption-pool/
Plumbing Company Sues HHS Mandate, A Drain on Freedom
A Missouri-based plumbing products manufacturer is the latest company to challenge the Obama administration s abortion pill mandate in court.
Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys and allied attorneys filed a federal lawsuit Monday on behalf of Sioux Chief Manufacturing Co. against the mandate, which forces employers, regardless of their religious or moral convictions, to provide insurance coverage for abortion-inducing drugs, sterilization, and contraception under threat of heavy penalties. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/15/plumbing-company-sues-hhs-mandate-a-drain-on-freedom/
Judge Halts Illinois Version of the HHS-Abortion Mandate
A pro-life legal group today says a state judge in Illinois has halted the Illinois version of the Obama-HHS abortion pill mandate, that requires religious companies to pay for drugs for their employees that may cause abortions. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/15/judge-halts-illinois-version-of-the-hhs-abortion-mandate/

Woman Chained to an Abortion Clinic Table Saves a Baby
This month marks the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Once again on January 22nd, tens of thousands will march on Washington to commemorate the little ones whose blood drenches our poor country. We will march and pray for an end to the American holocaust and we will remember. We must remember because memory is the gift future generations give to the martyred victims of the past. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/15/woman-chained-to-an-abortion-clinic-table-saves-a-baby/
Planned Parenthood s Instructions Led Women to Die From Abortion Drug
Eight. That s the number of women who have died from a severe bacterial infection following use of RU-486 (also known as Mifeprex). In all eight cases, the women were instructed to use the abortion drugs in a way that has not been approved by the FDA. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/15/planned-parenthoods-instructions-led-women-to-die-from-abortion-drug/

China s One-Child, Forced Abortion Policy Not Ending Soon
It sounds like the best news we could possibly hear: Media reports claim that China is going to phase out its One Child Policy and allow parents to have two children. Within eight years, the government will allow parents to have as many children as they want. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/15/chinas-one-child-forced-abortion-policy-not-ending-soon/
Planned Parenthood s Endless Attack on Women s Health
Planned Parenthood makes it from one day to the next by telling themselves and the world that they exist for reasons pertaining to women s health. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/15/planned-parenthoods-endless-attack-on-womens-health/
Russian Adoption Ban Now Won t Take Effect for One Year
A law that was supposed to take effect this month barring the adoption of Russian children by Americans has been granted what some are calling a miraculous reprieve. The law signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin was set to take effect January 1, leaving in limbo orphans who were in the process of being adopted by American families. In fact, it had already been enacted, so the sudden reversal based on this agreement is a mystery, but a welcome one. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/15/russian-adoption-ban-now-wont-take-effect-for-one-year/
