Dear Friends for Life,
Planned Parenthood Continues to Age, but its Time Is Up
** In her weekly column, Judie Brown explains how irreverence in Mass has led to pro-abortion politicians receiving Holy Communion without reprimand by Church clergy in accordance with Church law: http://www.renewamerica.com/ columns/brown/131023
** American Life League's Internet meme on Planned Parenthood's 97th birthday received a lot of attention and highlighted the millions of children's birthdays Planned Parenthood stopped from ever happening: http://www.lifenews.com/2013/ 10/20/planned-parenthood-at- 97-years-6300000-babies- aborted-billions-in-profit/

Another Resource on Targeted Killing of Young Females
**On October 8 the European Parliament approved a report by a vote of 567 to 37 called Gendercide: the missing women?. (This is a pdf; if it gives you a redirect message, clicking "previous page" seems to work). The report condemns sex selection abortion and female infanticide. The report by MEP Antigoni Papadopoulou recognizes that sex selective abortion is a form of discrimination and violence against women and girls and that family or societal pressure on women to pursue sex-selective abortion is considered a form of physical and psychological violence.
God Bless,
Jerry Novotny, OMI
(The Difference is LIFE) - Many have pointed out that the ancient human capacity for hatred combined with new human technological capacities means that humanity's ability to desecrate one another and the creation is greater than ever. We can abort children at will, now through a prescription. We can tinker with the very genetic code. We can kill criminals at the press of a button. We can enslave and mutilate women on a vast scale. We can push the nuclear button and end it all more or less instantaneously or slowly poison the ecosystems, other creatures, and ourselves ... We must, quite literally, "choose life so that [we and descendants may live" (Deut. 30:19) - David Gushee, The Sacredness of Human Life, page 400.

(Planned Parenthood): "Abortion. No matter what. -- The Planned Parenthood Project (video)" - "Planned
Parenthood is for one thing: Abortion. No matter what. We want the
world to know the truth about Planned Parenthood! Make sure you
especially share this video with all of your friends and family who say
abortion is bad but think Planned Parenthood does "some good stuff!"
(Abortion): "Powerful Video Shows Terrible Consequences of Abortion on Demand in Ireland" - "The Pro Life Campaign's National Conference took place last Saturday. Over 600 members of the Pro Life Campaign attended the conference along with two Oireachtas Members who lost the party whip for voting against the abortion legislation."
***************************** ***********
ITEM #1: Proposed Restriction of Conscientious Objection
The report argues strongly in favour of legalising abortion in all EU Member States, regardless of the rights to life and exercise of conscience recognised by the EU. Rapporteur Edite Estrela contends that the internationally afforded right to conscientious objection should be regulated, as barrriers to reproductive healthcare 'clearly contradict human rights standards'.This proposed curtailment of freedom of conscience, by which we are all able to refuse to participate in a practice contrary to our conscience within the legal boundaries of our country, should be cause for grave concern.
****************************** **********
ITEM #2: 'Month after pill' being marketed as contraceptive, not abortion despite destroying the embryo
A so-called "contraceptive" pill, which could work up to a month after unprotected sex, is a "contradiction in terms," critics say.
****************************** **********
ITEM #3: Taipei Christians and Buddhists unite against abortion
More than 1,000 Christians and Buddhists chanted "abortion is murder" and other slogans during a protest in which they prayed in front of the presidential office in Taipei yesterday.
****************************** **********
ITEM #4: 17,983 Abortions of Disabled, Down Syndrome Babies in UK, Parents Face Psychological Fallout
The belief that parents and families will be damaged by having a disabled child, and that this damage can be limited through abortion, is almost unquestioned today.
****************************** **********
ITEM #5: EU Petition to Stop Funding of Killing Embryos Gets 1.3 Million Signatures
There are still more than two weeks to go, but the European Citizens' Initiative "One of Us" has already collected 1.3 million signatures, which places it comfortably above the 1-million-signatures threshold that decides on success or failure of such petitions.
****************************** **********
ITEM #6: Pregnant Women Go Undercover in India to Expose Sex-Selection Abortions
The gender imbalance has grown so severe that a team of pregnant Indian women went undercover to help expose sex-selection abortion practices ravaging their country. According to India's 2011 census, the gap between boys and girls born in India has grown even wider in the last decade.
****************************** **********
ITEM #7 Survey shows nearly 30 million people living in slavery
Nearly 30 million people are living in slavery across the globe, many of them men, women and children trafficked by gangs for sex work and unskilled labour, according to a global slavery index.
****************************** **********
ITEM #8: Planned Parenthood Tells Teens Nothing Wrong With Multiple Sex Partners
At the root of Planned Parenthood is a pure and unadulterated racist evil. This time, their racist population control agenda centers around a dangerous drug, not well known to the general public, called Quinacrine. Planned Parenthood embraces and continues support for the global distribution and use of a dangerous sterilization drug called Quinacrine. This drug is such an abomination to women's health that no government agency in the world has approved its use and even some pro-choice women's groups oppose it. Just like abortion and dangerous contraceptive drugs such as Norplant and Depo-Provera, Planned Parenthood and their ilk target the poor and politically powerless women of color around the globe for its use.
****************************** **********
ITEM #9: Nearly one quarter of college students in Britain will get an STD freshman year, a new study finds
A new survey conducted by hookup website Shag@Uni revealed that nearly one out of four college students in the UK will contract an STD during freshman year. That figure jumps to 44 percent before graduation, the Huffington Post reports.
****************************** **********
ITEM #10: Selfish Convenience: Why people abort children with Down syndrome
There are usually noble-sounding excuses for why the parents chose to end their baby's life. Parents will talk about how it was the "kinder" option, because a person with Down syndrome can, according to them, never live on his or her own or have a meaningful life. It's done to "cure" their child of the suffering that Down syndrome will inherently bring. The parents didn't want to kill their baby, oh no. They did it because they love their baby that much! It was a totally, 100% unselfish decision.
****************************** **********
ITEM #11: Mom of 9: "I have been given this gift and ability to have babies"
These days, once a couple has had baby number three, friends and strangers alike often raise an eyebrow, wondering if the pair has ever heard of birth control. But for families like the Derricos, the birth of each of their nine children has been a reason to rejoice.
****************************** **********
ITEM #12: God Hasn't Changed His Laws to Suit Men: B&B Owners Defend Denial of Room to Homosexuals
In an interview this week on British television, a Christian couple defended their decision to deny a room to two homosexual men - even though it ended up costing them their livelihood.
