Award presentation today Sunday 27 October 2013.
To
receive the Annual Global Rosary Relay for Priests Award 2013 was not a
goal of our effort. We even did not know that there is an award like
that. Our goal was to gather and to pray together for priests - as one
family. This special time of prayer was a great blessings from Our Lady.
Our
Shrine in Levoča is a member of the European Marian Network from 2005.
It is really great distinction for us to belong to twenty best known
sanctuaries of Europe. In the same way it was great distinction for us
to participate in the Annual Global Rosary Relay for Priests with 59
other World Shrines.
It
was very nice experience of unity and fraternity. So we do not know
what to say now - when we have to receive the Annual Global Rosary Relay
for Priests Award. It is unbelievable and even if it was not a goal of
our effort, it is great impression to receive that prestigious award -
for us, for our Shrine and for whole Slovakia which is very small
country but very nice country (also spiritually). We are really glad
that the place of our Shrine is between the best known World Shrines -
also because of this prestigious award from WorldPriest.
