Abortions
Decline 3 Percent Nationally as Abortion Clinics Keep Closing
As more and more abortion clinics continue to close nationwide, the number of abortions nationally continues to decline. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released its latest national abortion statistics today and found the number and rate of reported abortions fell 3 percent in 2010, the most recent year for which the CDC has statistics.
The three percent decline in 2010 follows on the heels of a five percent decline in 2009. The CDC reported 753,000 abortions in 2010, but that includes just 45 states and the best national estimate is about 1.2 million abortions taking place annually. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/ 11/27/abortions-decline-3- percent-nationally-as- abortion-clinics-keep-closing/

Belgium:
Senate Panel Approves Measure Allowing Doctors to Euthanize Children
A Belgian Senate committee voted today to extend euthanasia to children with disabilities, in a move pro-life advocates worldwide had been fearing would come and expand an already much-abused euthanasia law even further.
A Belgian Senate committee voted today to extend euthanasia to children with disabilities, in a move pro-life advocates worldwide had been fearing would come and expand an already much-abused euthanasia law even further.
The Belgian Senate
committee voted 13-4 to allow minors to seek euthanasia under certain conditions
and the measure also would extend the right to request euthanasia to adults
with dementia. The bill still has legislative votes to clear before it becomes
law and it now heads to the Senate , where it will be debated in a plenary
meeting by all senators. There is still a chance to stop the bill in that
chamber but, if approved, it goes to the House of Representatives. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/ 11/27/belgium-senate-panel- approves-measure-allowing- doctors-to-euthanize-children/
Every so often a big company makes an ad that drives home the pro-life message or, at minimum, fosters a respect for life. Thats the case with industrial giant Unilever, which made a a new film encouraging expectant parents to bring their children into the world.
Calling the film the most hopeful secular production Ive seen in decades, pro-life blogger and scientist Gerard Nadal has this to say. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/

Cosmopolitan Magazine Pushes for Abortions on Disabled Babies
Say what you want about pro-life incrementalism, but one thing about the movement to ban abortions at 20 weeks is undeniable: it has exposed just how entitled abortionistas feel to the mainstream mantle even as they refuse to give an inch from their extremism.
Last week, Cosmopolitans
Liz Welch relayed the testimony of Vanessa Riley to the Texas legislature
opposing the states new protections for pain-capable unborn children.
Her devastating account is supposed to prove how these harsh
laws can prevent women from getting the care they need. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/Say what you want about pro-life incrementalism, but one thing about the movement to ban abortions at 20 weeks is undeniable: it has exposed just how entitled abortionistas feel to the mainstream mantle even as they refuse to give an inch from their extremism.

Condoms Handed Out as Prizes at Tax-Funded Event to Promote Obamacare
A taxpayer-funded group that hosted an event to promote signups for health insurance under Obamacare apparently handed out condoms as prizes for those who attended. With so little interested in government-run health care that pays for abortions, includes rationing and is an otherwise unsuitable replacement for good health care plans, free condoms are apparently what this Obamacare navigator needs to generate interest.
Although with millions of Americans
losing their health insurance thanks to Obamacare they may just get a few
takers. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/A taxpayer-funded group that hosted an event to promote signups for health insurance under Obamacare apparently handed out condoms as prizes for those who attended. Give Thanks for Pro-Life Victories on Abortion this Year
Its the Thanksgiving season, and now is the time to reflect on this last year, the things that we are thankful for and the ways that we have been blessed. In addition to family, friends, and the opportunity to work in the pro-life movement, we personally are thankful for the bountiful gift of pro-life laws enacted in the states. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/ 11/27/give-thanks-for-pro- life-victories-on-abortion- this-year/
