On October 15, newspaper columnist
J.D. Mullane spoke to a packed hall at the parish of Our Lady of Mount
Carmel in Doylestown, about his experiences at the trial of Philadelphia
abortionist Kermit Gosnell.

that are being made in Down syndrome awareness and acceptance. Pope Francis
has already demonstrated on numerous occasions his dedication to promoting
the value of human life.
Before he was even pope, Jorge Bergoglio urged Argentinian priests to support women who became pregnant out of wedlock and honor their courageous decision to choose life. “Do
you have kids?” my co-worker asked as he looked at an old family photo
of me surrounded by nieces and nephews. He was helping me move into a new
office, and my mind was focused on the many other duties that were piling
up. He went on to mention that he and his wife had adopted twin sons from
Guatemala. However, I was distracted and simply said, “that’s
great” before moving the conversation along.
“Do

begin being transparent about what plans on the Marketplace, including both
private plans and Multi-State plans (MSP), cover elective abortion. Other
states in charge of operating their own exchange and the federal government
should follow their lead and give the American people real choice in health
care by disclosing whether their premiums will cover elective abortions.

its extravagant opinions. Nowhere is its commitment to radical policies
more explicit than when dealing with abortion.

on the Elimination of all Forms of Violence Against Women, is promoting
abortion in a controversial new general recommendation on women in situations

to Abortion
Remember
when several states sought to defund Planned Parenthood because they didn’t
want public money to go to an abortion provider? Oh, the screaming! These
laws were so uncompassionate, PP’s defenders screamed, denying poor women
basic health care!
Yet, when Texas law required that
abortionists have admitting privileges within 30 miles of an abortion clinic–which
would not in any way prevent the clinics from providing poor women ”basic
