What About Rape?
Pro-lifers need to know how to answer the “what about rape?” question. This week, we are launching our national We Care Tour visiting several college campuses this fall, addressing this very question, not shirking from it.
We will have the very real and honest conversations that need to be had; pass out rape whistles, sexual consent cards, and hotline numbers; and tell the stories of those women who conceived because of rape.
The conversations will be hard, especially given the violent and personal nature of rape and sexual assault. The pro-life movement absolutely has to be compassionate and understanding of what these women have been through and continue to suffer. But abortion is not the answer to lessening that suffering. October Event-in-a-Box: Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity
It seems like a crazy concept to shout something by not speaking at all. But, that is precisely what will be taking place on October 21, 2014.
Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity is a day in which people all across the nation will give up their own voice for the 3,300 children who have lost theirs due to “choice” that same day.
Since January 22, 1973, over 56,000,000 babies have had their voices silenced through abortion in this nation alone. That is over 1/4 of the current generation lost to abortion.
Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity has made a huge impact at schools across the nation when students made a public statement against abortion. I encourage you get Students for Life of America’s Event-in-a Box and give up your voice for a day. Can you do it?
