San Diego pro-lifers keep up tradition of Our Lady of Fatima processions to abortion site
News from the Trenches
On Saturday, Sept. 6, the seventh First Saturday Procession this year from Our Lady of the Rosary parish in downtown San Diego to a nearby abortion center was held.
Two sidewalk counselors were supported by 16 prayer warriors armed with Rosaries and Holy Water.
Fr. Joseph Tabigue again joined us as well as several members of the Goretti Group.
The group walked in procession six blocks after the 7:30 a.m. Mass carrying a statue of Our Lady of Fatima to the mill and praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet on the way.
Fifteen Rosary Mysteries are prayed at the mill, interspersed with beautiful hymns. This is followed by several minutes of silent prayer for mercy.
The group then walked in procession back to the church praying the Luminous Mysteries.
This procession occurs every First Saturday beginning with the 7:30 Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary. Please plan to join us for this beautiful and moving prayer event!
