Mother of Life Conference

The Knights of Columbus, San Diego chapter, present the second annual Mother of Life Conference. The pro-life conference will be held at University of San Diego, in the Jenny Craig Pavilion on Saturday, August 13. Check-in begins at 7:00 am and the events begin at 8:00 am and will end at 6:00 pm. The conference will consist of four talks, the Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and Saturday Vigil Mass. Exhibitor booths will sell literature and music. This year’s speakers are Father Frank Pavone, Eduardo Verastegui, Pastor Jim Garlow and Alveda King. 
Father Pavone is the national director of Priests for Life. Eduardo Verastegui after rediscovering his Catholic faith, co-founded the production company Metanoia Films and starred in its first film, Bella (2006). 
Jim Garlow is the pastor of Skyline Wesleyan Church in La Mesa and was a leader in the protect marriage campaign (Yes on Proposition 8) in 2008. 
Alveda King is the director of African-American Outreach for Priests for Life and Gospel of Life Ministries. 
The registration fee per person is $35 before Sunday, July 10. After July 10, the registration fee is $45, including on the day of the conference. For additional information or to register online go to www.MotherofLifeConference.com.
