The news about Fr. Corapi is very disheartening for many. His preaching was appreciated by hundreds of thousands.  He seemed to make up for what most religious leaders have been afraid of preaching on necessary hard truths at this time of spiritual and moral chaos. However, Fr. Corapi’s personal life has now been revealed to have been a radically different story. Such is life and the inherent weakness of man.

The story of a “brain dead” Quebec woman waking up before her family could be convinced to donate her organs is one more in a long list of similar incidents. Extreme caution would seem to be in order regarding the competency of physicians to always determine certain death while a growing and lucrative organ transplant industry aggressively seeks more organs.
