If you have not yet had the time to watch the video of Julia Holcomb telling her dramatic story, I strongly urge you to do so. As one reader said after viewing the three parts - “Wow!”

This wife, mother and gifted artist is very special to have come from the difficult background that she did to the wonderful family life she now experiences. Her courage and conviction to go public with her personal story so many years afterwards - for the sake of helping other women to avoid abortion - is exceptional.

Many thanks to all the readers who responded to our appeal today. There has been a generous boost to our campaign. Many donated $5, others $10, $20, $50, $100, $250, $500 and $1,000 - in other words, as much as they could under their particular circumstances. Thanks to every one of you. To follow the progress of the campaign see the thermometer on our home page.

The Population Research Institute’s latest short cartoon video, exposing the false arguments of de-populationists, is another must see. Funny, but also highly thought provoking.

Some of you received our Saturday news with the incorrect subject line date of “Monday, Oct. 1, 2011”. It of course should have read, Saturday, Oct. 1. Sorry about the confusion.
