The imaginary war on women

The term "war on women" has taken on a life of its own in political and media circles. The question is, where did it come from and why should we care?
California's pro-abortion senator Barbara Boxer was the first to spread the term via Twitter. Boxer "tweeted" six different questions and spread the word. Voila! War on women became a feminist battle cry.

"In my opinion because CARE is so well known and so high profile and because the advocacy of abortion has been so strong and public and in such opposition to the position of the bishops, scandal would be unavoidable." Haas revealed that CRS wanted to retain the long-standing relationship with CARE nonetheless.

Planned Parenthood is facing new calls for congressional scrutiny after a Chicago woman died following an abortion at a local clinic last week. Twenty-four-year old Tonya Reaves died Friday of hemorrhaging following the abortion, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. Her death has been ruled an accident.  

Planned Parenthood injures another
woman in botched abortion
The death of a young woman at a Chicago Planned Parenthood facility following a failed abortion has garnered nationwide news and attention. However, on the same day last Friday, the abortion business also injured another woman in a botched abortion. The Pro-Life Action League uncovered the botched abortion and local pro-life advocates helping provide women outside the Planned Parenthood clinic with alternatives information provided the group a picture (shown here) of the ambulance arriving at the abortion company's location.
