Mitt Romney Bashes China One-Child Policy in VFW Speech
In a speech today, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney delivered an address on foreign policy and national security at the Veterans of Foreign Wars National Convention in Reno, Nevada.

During the remarks, Romney took on China over its one-child policy that has resulted in massive human rights abuses such as forced abortions, forced sterilizations. The policy has been so bad that human rights attorney Chen Guangcheng was forced to flee the nation after years of imprisonment and home detention for speaking out on behalf of victims. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/07/24/mitt-romney-bashes-china-one-child-policy-in-vfw-speech/

Mother of Two Aborted Baby One-Week Before Due Date
A British woman, Sarah Catt, 35, self-aborted her unborn child just one week before her baby s due date. She was eventually charged and pleaded guilty to administering poison to procure the miscarriage after using a drug she purchased online to abort her baby.

Catt now faces jail for aborting her baby herself in the final week of pregnancy and police have still been unable to locate the body of the unborn child. Catt reportedly purchased a drug over the Internet and was charged with taking it with intent to procure a miscarriage. She pleaded guilty but would not cooperate with police on the location of where she disposed of the body of her baby. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/07/24/mother-of-two-aborted-baby-one-week-before-due-date/

Court Orders Planned Parenthood: Inform Women of Abortion-Suicide Link
A federal appeals court has upheld a provision of a South Dakota law requiring the states lone abortion business, operated by Planned Parenthood, that it has to inform women of the validity of the link between abortion and suicide. With women facing a host of mental health issues following an abortion, Planned Parenthood can no longer keep women in the dark about them.

An en banc panel of the court declared that South Dakota s statute that requires abortion doctors to disclose to pregnant mothers that an abortion places the mother at increased risk for suicide ideation and suicide constitutional because the disclosure is truthful, non-misleading, and relevant to the pregnant mother s decision of whether or not to consent to an abortion. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/07/24/court-orders-planned-parenthood-inform-women-of-abortion-suicide-link/

Democrats Don t Remove Ad Making Fun of MS Patient Ann Romney
Last week, LifeNews reported on a Democratic Party ad that essentially made fun of a patient with multiple sclerosis, the wife of presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

The Democratic National Committee unveiled a video featuring footage of Ann Romney s dancing show horse as a way of mocking Mitt Romney for dancing around the issue of his taxes and whether he would make public additional tax returns that the IRS has certified are legitimate. The video was meant to be the first in a series of videos on the topic and the first featured the horse, owned jointly by Ann and Mitt Romney. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/07/24/democrats-dont-remove-ad-making-fun-of-ms-patient-ann-romney/

Women Will Lead Next Battles to Stop Obamacare Implementation
Conservatives have won the latest battle in the war to make President Obama s health care law obsolete. The House vote on July 11 to repeal Obamacare brings us one step closer to replacing it. Unfortunately, the repeal is unlikely to pass in the Democrat-controlled Senate, and the president has vowed to veto any repeal effort. Nonetheless, as strong women leaders representing our members and constituents, we are committed to keep at it until this legislation is off the books. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/07/24/women-will-lead-next-battles-to-stop-obamacare-implementation/
