The Folly of Pandering to Public Opinion
By Judie Brown
CommentaryPhotoJB_Oct05
The Bible teaches the parable of the shepherd who lost a sheep and, through this, we have come to realize just how valuable and special each and every soul is to our Lord. The loss of even one sheep----one soul----is not acceptable. Thus is the case with abortion. The loss of one human life can never be acceptable or considered okay, no matter the circumstances. In a few weeks, voters in Florida will decide whether to approve an amendment to the state constitution. Today's commentary explains the flaws in this proposal and how it will not truly protect the sanctity of life.

41-month sentence for man who threatened Fr. Pavone and pro-life leaders
LifeSiteNews
Theodore Shulman, a pro-choice activist who in 2010 threatened to kill several pro-life leaders, has been sentenced to 41 months in federal prison. Shulman, 51, pleaded guilty in May to one count of transmitting a threat to injure another person. The targeted victims named in the case are Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, and Princeton University's Robert George. In January 2010, as the trial of Scott Roeder, a man accused of killing abortionist George Tiller, was under way, Shulman posted a comment on the Catholic news site First Things, threatening that "if Roeder is acquitted, someone will respond by killing" Father Pavone and Mr. George.

The Contradiction of WHO
Population Research Instititute
The World Health Organization (WHO) is devoting much staff time and resources to promoting the legalization of abortion around the world. In fact, it has just come out with a new "how-to" manual entitled Safe abortion: technical and policy guidance for health systems. The stated goal of the manual is to educate practitioners on "safe abortion" procedures and to advocate ways to "reduce unsafe abortion" around the world. Before we go any further, please understand that "safe abortion" is a code word for "legal abortion," while "reducing unsafe abortion" means "overturning laws that protect unborn life." The abortion-minded do not hesitate to distort the English language to make their project sound beneficial to women and innocuous to the taxpaying public.

Leading World Bank demographer: Vaccination
campaigns part of population reduction policy
InfoWars.com
On October 2nd a retired demographer at the World Bank admitted that vaccination campaigns are an integral part of the World Bank's population policies. John F. May, the Bank's leading demographer from 1992 to 2012, told the French web journal Sens Public (and in turn transcribed by the think-tank May works for) that vaccination campaigns, especially in so-called "high-fertility countries," are means to achieve population reduction in those countries. May: "The means used to implement population policies are 'policy levers' or targeted actions such as vaccination campaigns or family planning to change certain key variables."
