Polls: Americans Say Mitt Romney Beat Obama in Debate
Polls taken following Wednesday night s debate between Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama show Americans believed the challenger won the debate. More important, Romney may have swung a sizable number of undecided voters his direction.

A CNN/ORC poll of registered voters who watched the debate in Denver indicated 67 percent believe Romney won the debate, while just 25 percent said Obama won. The survey found 35 percent of voters said the debate made them more likely to vote for Romney, while just 18 percent said Obama. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/10/04/polls-americans-say-mitt-romney-beat-obama-in-debate/

Why Skeptical Pro-Lifers Should Vote for Mitt Romney
David French is a Senior Counsel at the American Center for Law and Justice. A graduate of Harvard Law School, he is a former Senior Counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund. David has written multiple books and his articles have been published by the Washington Post and Washington Times, among others. He has also founded Evangelicals for Mitt.

I wanted to bring David on to respond to the most common concerns that pro-life people have about voting for Romney. And that he did. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/10/04/why-skeptical-pro-lifers-should-vote-for-mitt-romney/

Obama Admin Sues to Force Arizona Fund Planned Parenthood
The Obama administration is using the state of Arizona and claiming that its new law revoking taxpayer funding for the Planned Parenthood abortion business runs afoul of federal laws.

The Whole Woman s Health Funding Priority Act of Arizona (HB 2800) de-funded abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood of state family planning money. The bill is based on model legislation developed by the SBA List and the Alliance Defense Fund, and prioritizes family planning funds away from abortion-centered businesses like Planned Parenthood to entities that provide women with comprehensive health care. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/10/04/obama-admin-sues-to-force-arizona-fund-planned-parenthood/

Paul Ryan: Romney Admin Will Protect Religious Liberty
In a new video released by the Romney campaign for Catholic voters, pro-life Vice-Presidential candidate Paul Ryan says protecting religious freedom important given the pro-abortion HHS mandate will be important in a Romney administration.

We need a president who will support our God-given rights not try to circumvent them. The protection of religious liberty will be a cornerstone of a Romney-Ryan administration, he says. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/10/04/paul-ryan-romney-admin-will-protect-religious-liberty/

Gallup: Abortion Issue Gives Romney Advantage Over Obama
The conclusion of a new Gallup poll on the issue of abortion is this: the issue of abortion gives Mitt Romney an advantage over President Obama because pro-life voters are much more passionate than pro-abortion voters.

Although some political pundits dismiss the issue of abortion, Gallup confirms, Seventeen percent say they will vote only for candidates for major office who share their own views on abortion, one of the higher rates of abortion-centric voting seen in presidential election years since 1992. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/10/04/gallup-abortion-issue-gives-romney-advantage-over-obama/

Obama s Claims IPAB Doesn t Ration Health Care Don t Match Reality
During last night s debate, President Barack Obama tried to rebut an attack from Mitt Romney on Obamacare.

Romney said the controversial health care law contains the Independent Payment Advisory Board, which would ration or limit the kind of health care treatments and services recipients can receive. That s one reason, apart form abortion funding, that pro-life groups have been strenuously opposed to the Obamacare legislation and favor its repeal. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/10/02/catholics-pray-for-the-elections-life-and-religious-liberty/

Abortion Activist Jailed Who Threatened to Kill Pro-Life Leaders
A pro-abortion activist who sent death threats to a number of pro-life leaders has been sentenced to 41 months in federal prison.

Theodore Shulman, 51, threatened pro-life Princeton University professor Robert George and Father Frank Pavone, the national director of Priests for Life. He was arrested in February 2011 and has been held without bail ever since. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/10/04/pro-abortion-activist-who-threatened-pro-lifers-gets-41-month-sentence/

Woman Conceived in Rape: Thank God I Wasn t an Abortion Victim
AJuda Myers has made it her life s mission to reach out to women victimized by rape, and to protect unborn babies conceived by rape and incest from the injustice of abortion.
Too often, legislators and even some Pro-Lifers make concessions for abortion in the cases of rape and incest, claiming that the exceptions are compassionate for the women involved. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/10/04/woman-conceived-in-rape-thank-god-i-wasnt-an-abortion-victim/

Abortion Boat Blocked From Entering Morocco Port, Harming Women
Authorities in Morocco prevented the controversial Dutch abortion boat from entering its port today and delivering dangerous abortion drugs to women in this nation where unborn children are protected by law. After running around years ago in South America, the organization has brought the ship back to supposedly do drug-induced abortions on women and unborn children off of the coast of this pro-life nation. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/10/04/abortion-boat-blocked-from-entering-morocco-port-harming-women/

Pro-Life Sidewalk Counselor Arrested on Bogus Charges Again
As a group of us were assembled to pray during the 40 Days for Life vigil taking place outside the Albany Medical Surgical Center abortion facility in Chicago, we were taken by surprise when Albany manager Diana Maracick angrily walked right through the middle of our prayer group on her way into the clinic. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/10/04/pro-life-sidewalk-counselor-arrested-on-bogus-charges-again/

Planned Parenthood Dropped From Infant Food Program in Oklahoma
Why should the nation s biggest abortion business be involved in a taxpayer-funded program that provides food for low income women and children? That s the question officials in Oklahoma asked themselves. They answered it by dropping the abortion giant and having tax dollars go to legitimate agencies helping women and children in need. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/10/04/planned-parenthood-dropped-from-infant-food-program-in-oklahoma/

Here I go jumping into the fray. I told myself I would never do it, and here I go.
